Looking around the room she hoped to find something left behind reminding her of Bette. When she couldn’t locate no such thing she walked towards the door locking it. Removing her dress, she pulls back the blanket and sheets climbing into bed. Sitting up she reaches for her satchel removing a box. Opening the box she removes the letters placing them on the sheets next to her. Reading the one letter she always read before bed she lays back resting her head on the pillow. Halfway through the letter an all too familiar scent fills her nose. Putting the letter down she turns her body until she is face down on the pillow. Grabbing both sides of the pillow she raises the pillow off the bed holding it close to her face taking in Bettes lingering scent. Inhaling deep she takes in her scent triggering a wave of emotions causing an arousing sensation to occur between her thighs.

“Bette my love, “she moaned her name aloud as her hand found its way to her now dripping thighs. With memories of how Bette satisfied her last she pleased herself into a deep sleep.

As Queen Avile slept both Ascara and Koi kept a watchful eye over her. Her body rapidly rejuvenated itself and her health almost fully restored due in part to Ascara healing powers. Watching her sleep, fond memories of them as children occupied her thoughts. Their mothers were the only surviving offspring born to the queens of Cordelia. When they both passed on to the afterlife, it was written in their last testament that Aviles mother would succeeded them both even though she was the younger sister. The decision was made based upon Ascaras mother unwillingness to lead. Ascaras mother was the first to die, followed by her younger sister who met the same fate years later by dying peacefully in her sleep. At the time of her death a last testament could not be located, so appointed counsel was left with little decision and appointed the late queens daughter Avile to the throne. It was a tough decision as many who sat upon the counsel questioned whether or not she was fit to rule.
