Let It Happen – Chapter XIX

“Here,” she kissed the pulse point beating near the base of Tina’s neck.

“Here,” she kissed her neck, then began to lick Tina with long, wet strokes.

“And here,” she murmured huskily, as she pulled Tina’s head down, hands tunneled into the blonde’s silky tresses.  Her heart was thudding so loudly on her chest she thought Tina had heard it.  The blonde’s  arms buckled as she met Bette’s lips to lock it in a searing kiss.  Tears began to track down her cheek.  Bette felt it hit her own cheek.

“T…” she released from the kiss, panting.  She tried to swallow.

“What’s wrong, baby?” she asked, gently caressing the blonde’s hair.  They were still face to face, noses rubbed against each other.  She kissed Tina softly.

“I just love you, Bette, so much. So much that it hurts, sometimes,” she answered sniffling.  Bette wiped her tears gently.

Bette smiled warmly, then shook her head from side to side, “And I am head over heels, crazy in love with you Tina Kennard.  Crazy in love with Baby Angelica.  Stunned, still, about how lucky I am, to be here with you both.  Don’t think for a second that I’ll do anything to mess that up. Again.”

“Bette, baby … I hurt you. Badly…,” Tina began to say.

“No..no, T.  I should have knocked myself in the head earlier. I don’t know what was keeping me away.  I thought I was trying to find myself, “ She kissed Tina.  “Somebody I’d met told me I was a seeker.  And seekers are only always looking, maybe.”

“But I was lost, mainly. Sick in the head, and sick in the heart.  Turns out, in more ways than one,” she smiled, self-deprecating.

She kissed Tina softly, again.  “I don’t know what I thought I would find out there. Everything I was looking for was right here.  With you. And now, this wonderful gift you’ve given me, this baby you almost died giving birth to.”

This time, she began to tear up, “Not for a second.  Or for anything will I give that up, T.  Or give it up again, I should say,” Bette said, with quiet passion.

With a shaky voice, “You almost died, T!”

“Do you know how that would have torn me up?”
