Tina and Bette walked in to The Planet around 6ish. All of their friends where already there. Alice with Tasha; Max with his daughter, she is now three-years-old and is the most beautiful little girl any one had ever seen, definitely had Max’s blue eyes, and gorgeous cheek bones; Shane and Kit sat together conversing about some subject that Bette was sure was completely irrelevant so felt no need to ask what was going on. 

“Hey you two, where were you?”

Alice spoke clearly, and with a hint of sarcasm.

“We went shopping on Sunset. And since when do we need to check in with you?”

“Oh you don’t Bette, but you’ve still got lipstick on your cheek, and it’s vaguely similar to the one that Tina’s wearing!”

“So what? What are we five?”

“Alright you two, give it a break Alice, my baby sis is a grown woman and if she wants to make out, and leave all traces of it, so be it.”

“Exactly.”

Tina was giggling at this point as she began to remove the lipstick from Bette cheek.”

“Baby, light pink really isn’t your color anyways, your more of a red, mauve color even, but definitely not light pink though.”

“It’s alright baby, there’s more where that came from anyways.”

Bette kissed Tina and then winked at Alice only to antagonize her. 

“Oh come on, you guys are absolutely so cute it’s sickening.”

Everyone at the table just began to laugh hysterically.

A couple of hours passed with no one really talking about anything in particular. The band was playing deep within it’s songs list, and no one really had anything to say. All of a sudden Tina and Bette happened to notice that all the heads at the table began to turn towards the door. 

“Who is thaaat?”

Alice said as her jaw suddenly hit the floor. It fell so hard that everyone around the table could hear it hit the table. At that moment Tina and Bette turned around with such force that they were surprised they didn’t both acquire whiplash, but to their unfortunate surprise…

“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me!”

Bette said with such disgust that Tina thought she was going to get up and leave at that very moment.

“Everyone quit looking, turn around and listen to me very carefully. That is Phoebe Cadlack, she’s an old fling from college, and me and Tina walked into her shop looking for dresses today, and she was trying to make a pass at me, but Tina and I walked out, and I would sincerely appreciate it if we just kept to ourselves. Alright?”

“Yah that’s fine”

Everyone seemed to say in tuned, except for Kit. Kit’s face just went pale.

“Bette, I need to talk to you alone real fast okay?”

“Yah.”

Bette looked at Kit, she knew what Kit wanted to talk about, but was hesitant to acknowledge what she already knew. Bette and Kit walked back to Kit’s office…

“Baby sis, what the fuck is Phoebe Cadlack doing in town? I thought that bitch lived in fucking New York? This is just bad news.”

“Kit I know, but what am I supposed to do? She’s here, I don’t know why, but I am sure as hell going to find out before the end of the night you can rest assured on that!”

“No baby sis, don’t just forget her. Okay?”

Kit looked at Bette with a puzzled look, she knew she hadn’t said anything to Tina about Phoebe and Bette’s past, the real story not the abridged version.

“Baby sis, have you told Tina?”

“No Kit I haven’t, I never in my wildest dreams thought she’d be here in West Hollywood!”
“Well she is baby sis, you need to tell Tina now!”

“Uhm, yah okay, why worry Tina if I don’t have to?”
