Lets Re-Write Your History: A Natural Heaven

Title: (Chapter Four) A Natural Heaven:

Shane made her way out to the backyard with a cup of coffee and a morning shot in hand. Making her way over
to the patio and taking a seat, Bette soon joined her.

"Morning." Shane looked over her shoulder and tossed back her morning shot. "Hey, Bette."
"May I?" Shane shook her head and Bette took a seat beside her.

"So, that was pretty nice last night." Shane said placing her cup in the table, which sat between them. Just then,
Jenny made her way outside and over to the women.

    "Morning, girls."
    "Good Morning, Jenny." Bette smiled.
"Hey." Shane replied, waving her hand lazily.
"So wow, Bette. big night last night." Jenny took a seat. "That was pretty sweet of you."
    Bette smiled.

"Yea. That's what I said." Tina spoke, emerging from their home, in her pajamas. She took a seat next to
Bette and gave her a chaste kiss on the lips. "Good Morning."
"Good Morning." Bette replied, a bit stunned, but smiling.

"Wait, so you two are back together?" Jenny exclaimed, repositioning herself so that she was now sitting Indian-
    style in her chair.

"Not exactly.." Bette began to answer and looked over at Tina, who began to speak, "We're still separated."
She made eye contact with Bette. "But we've decided to give our relationship another chance."
The two women shared a smile.

Shane sat up. "Wait," she shook her head, "so you're not together, but you're fucking?"
Tina let out a small laugh and looked over to Bette, who was stunned by the comment. Jenny blushed.
"Actually Shane, nothing happened between the two of us last night. T. has just decided to stay here
for a while. We're even sleeping in separate rooms." Bette took a sip of her coffee and smiled.

"Starting over, huh?" Shane laid back in her chair. Her focus on the clouds. Her thoughts, somewhere
else. Though she was talking to Bette and Tina, the statement had more than one meaning.

Tina smiled and Bette answered, "Um..yea. Something like that."

Jenny, who was all smiles looking on, began to speak "So Tina, were you surprised last night?"

"I don't think i've ever been more surprised in my life. That had to be, without a doubt, the sweetest thing
anyone has ever done for me."
The phone in Shane and Jenny's house began to ring.

"I got it." Shane replied, hoping up and running into the house.

    "Hello." Shane answered.
    "Hey, Shane?"
    "Yea. Hey Jasmine. Whats up?"
"Well, I woke up this morning and I had an idea..." Shane let out a small laugh. "I want to have a party at The Planet. Tonight.
And I'm gonna need your help."

    "Sure. Anything, name it."
"I need you to bring as many people as you can. A few of my friends from home are coming down, too. Think you
    can handle that?"
Shane laughed. "Yea. Yea, I think I got it. I'll see you around seven."
"Thank-you so much! I swear Shane, if I could right now, I'd kiss you. See you at seven." Jasmine hung up the phone.

Shane made her way to the fridge and made herself a bagel. A few minutes later, she made her way back outside.
Tina and Jenny were engaged in conversation. Bette soon re-joined the group.

"Who was that on the phone, babe?" Tina asked, turning to face Bette.
"That was Kit. She wanted us to know that Jasmine Forrester's throwing a party at The Planet tonight and
    we're all invited."

Shane finished off her bagel and stood up. "i'm gonna hop in the shower. um...you guys wanna meet up and hit The Planet
    a little early?"
"Alright." Tina shook her head and rose to her feet. Bette and Jenny followed suit.

"I've got a few things to take care of, and then I'll meet you guys there?" Bette turned to Shane, "Would it be alright if Tina rode with you
    guys?"
"Uh, yea. Sure, no problem." Shane nodded. She and Jenny made their way into the house, as did Bette and Tina.

Tina stopped Bette before she retired to her room. "I didn't know you had to work today."
She leaned against the wall. The other woman turned to face her, "I don't."
Bette made her way into the room and Tina stood confuzed.
"Then, why can't you leave with us when we go to The Planet?"

Bette made her way over to Tina and took the womans hand into hers. She softly placed a kiss
    on her palm, "You'll see."
Bette retired to her bathroom, leaving the other woman even more confused than before.

    Comments

    1. I am interested in this story. At least Bette and Tina are in the same house and seem to be trying to work out their issues. Not sure of the time frame but who cares. Always love it when B&T are somewhat happy and the girls are around.
