Previously:
Before she could leave the hospital, Alice stopped her. “Porter, wait. What the ***** is wrong with you?”
“With me? Now just because she’s dying she’s a saint?”
“Don’t throw your anger over her just because she’s doing it with you. She just knew she’s dying. Give her some time and understanding. She’s afraid.”
“I’m afraid too. I can’t see her like that and do nothing to help.”
“You can help. Everyone here can take decisions for her or Angelica, but only you can help her trough her pain.”
“I can’t take her pain away.”
“But you can share your pain and fears. The connection that you have is all she needed from you. And don’t deny it. I saw it yesterday, when you were holding her. Don’t hide from Tina your weakness Bette, let her see it so she can show you hers.”
“She doesn’t want me around her.”
“She’s afraid you are here just for pity. She changed the next of kin because she thinks you came because of it. She wants you here, but only if you care about her. So it’s your decision: you will leave or you’ll come back to the room and let her to know how you feel?”
CHAPTER 7: CLOSURE OR RECONECTION?
“I don’t know, Al. I love her. I don’t want to be another burden for her to have to handle right now. We are separated for seven months now”
“Four of them you were trying to find your way back each other…”
Alice now was walking towards Tina’s room again, leading a distracted Bette with her.
“I know. But I can’t help to think that maybe she was right when she didn’t call me. It hurts but maybe is for the best.”
“Do you really believe it? That she doesn’t want you here? And even if that was true, where is the stubborn Porter that wouldn’t take a no as answer?”
“I want to respect her wish.” Bette suddenly stopped. ” God I can’t believe I was angry with her right now.” Bette was now pacing and shaking her hands on the air, visibly upset. Alice wondered if she was rambling with Alice or with herself.

Finally some progress with those two hard heads.. they love each other and is time to show that love… I hope the transplant went well they still have a lot of make up to do..lol..im glad Tina seems to know that Bette is there for her for love not pity another great chapter… Can’t wait for more thanks :o)

yes t will be ok after the transplant,and i hope tina does’nt push bette away during her recovery.i want them to be together to raise angelica she needs both her moms.
it would be really an act of unconditional love if it were Bette giving Tina her liver…after all Bette only has to keep a piece of her own, ’cause it re grows (can’t think of the proper word right now, my brain ain’t working to well, this chapter was to emotional).
