Previously:

"I know I guess I am just being a little over protective." Tina said. Bette gave her a look. "I know its a little too late but…."

"T. It’s never too late to protective of our children." Bette said interrupting her.

Cat stood on the balcony of the apartment taking in the city night air. Jess stood in the door way watching her with a smile. Cat turned and when she saw Jess she smiled.

"I love you." Jess said putting her arms around Cat.

"I love you too." Cat said.

"It feels so good being here with you. Even if they are down there." Jess said.

"Let’s forget they are there." Cat asked.

"I have an idea." Jess said and walked back into the apartment. Cat knowing that face quickly followed.

"Jess, what are you up to?" Cat asked.

"You’ll see." Jess was digging through an old toy box in her room.

"We can’t do that." Cat said.

"What I used to do it all the time. It’s fun. Let’s just hope this old balloons are still good." Jess said heading for the kitchen.

"Jess we aren’t kids and they aren’t breaking any law." Cat said.

"Well, That’s true but any body in this building can tell you that when you stand within that blue square down there you are in my range." Jess said.

"I believe you have done this before." Cat said handing Jess another balloon.

They carried 2 dozen or so balloons to the balcony.

"Can I ask you a question?" Cat asked.

"You just did." Jess said.

"Funny. I am serious. How are we going to do this with out being caught?" Cat asked.

"With this." Jess held up an spool of string.

"Still confused here." Cat said.

"Tie each balloon to the string. Then we will throw the string over. It allows for awesome attack. It also limits the time they have to get out of the way than if you throw them one by one." Jess said.

"I see." Cat said.

"It also allows us maximum time to get inside and busy doing something else." Jess said.
