Some how during the night Alice had managed to bump her nose. She woke immediately and tried not to scream, she didn’t want to wake up Dana. Alice unwound herself from Dana and made her way into the kitchen. The doctor had given her pain meds but she didn’t want to take them because of the baby. She got out a bag of ice and went into the living room. Dana felt the side where Alice was lying was not only cold but empty, she assumed that Alice would be back in a few moments and closed her eyes. It had been ten minuets and Alice wasn’t back yet, Dana got out of bed. She heard the TV on and went into the living room. Dana found Alice lying on the sofa with ice on her nose. Al looked pretty content so Dana left her alone and headed back to bed. Dana did however realize that Alice is getting a baby bump. It was about an hour later and Alice nose was starting to feel better she went into the kitchen and decided on some breakfast. Alice looked through the cabinets and couldn’t find anything, she wanted. She went into her room changed and headed to the Planet. She checked in on Dana before she left. Shane was sitting at the usual table went Alice walked into the planet. Shane was reading the newspaper so she didn’t realize Alice’s nose.

“Good morning Shane.”

“Morning Alice.”

Shane set the paper down.

“Oh my god….HAHAHAHAHA”

Alice frowned she new what Shane was laughing at.

“Alice your nose, what happened?”

“I broke it.”

“How?”

“Promise you won’t laugh.”

“Alice you know I can’t promise that.”

“Shane.”

“It wasn’t like kinky sex gone wrong with Dana was it?”

“No Shane it wasn’t.”

“Okay so how did you break your nose?”

“Laura punched me.”

“Laura as in Dana’s ex?”

“That would be the one.”

“Ouch.”

“Yea tells me about it and that wasn’t even the highlight of the day.”

“Oh yea what was the highlight.”

“Sharon Fairbanks showing up unannounced.”

“I hate when she does that. She did that all the time when Dana first moved here.”

‘I know.”

“I first met her on one of her one of those visits, woman hasn’t liked me since.”
