    Life’s Unexpected Turns Chap 33

The next morning Alice woke up to am empty bed, she figured that Dana had gone for a run so she didn’t stress about it. Alice had breakfast showered and decided to take Dana’s advice and look into some parenting classes. She got into her beloved Mini and headed for the woman’s center across from Doctor Wilson’s office. Alice walked and started looking and employee approached her after a few minuets.

Hi, I’m Monica is there anything that I can help you with?”

“I was hoping to take some parenting classes.”

“You’re just in luck we have some starting next week.”

    ‘How long is it?”

“It’s a 5 day course that last two hours each night.”

    “That’s not too bad.”

“Not at all and it covers all the basics, feeding, bathing, and diaper changing.”

“Do I have to sign up or anything?”

“Yes, if you want we can do that right now if you wish.”

    “I would be great.”

“Are you doing to be by yourself?”

“No my partner will be joining me.”

“If you can just fill out these papers you will be all set.”

    “Okay does it cost anything?”

“No all our courses here are free of charge.”

    “Great.”

It took Alice all but ten minuets to fill out the papers.

    “I’m finished.”

    “Great, see you on Monday.”

“Thank you for all your help.”

“Your welcome have a good day.”

    “You too.”

Alice walked out of the center and her cell phone started going off.

    “Hey there momma.”

    “Hey Dane.”

    “Whatcha doing?”

    “Getting ready to head home?”

    “Where did you go?”

“Well I’m at the woman’s center across from Dr. Wilson’s office and starting Monday we have parenting classes.”

    “Great for how long?”

“Just 5 days two hours a night.”

“That’s it I thought it would be longer.”

“Me too, but it’s not that bad.”

    “Not at all.”

“Yea so when will you be home?”

    “In about an hour.”

“Okay well I’ll see you at home.”

    “Alright bye babe.”

    “Bye.”

Alice hung up the phone and started walking over to her car when she saw a familiar woman sitting on the bench. She wasn’t sure if she should approach the woman it was the woman who hates her most in the world Sharon Fairbanks. Alice went against her gut feeling and walked over to the bench.

    1. So excited to see a new chapter so soon! Wow. Heavy… Poor Sharon. It is good that she still has time to make amends — I guess she is lucky in that. I like that Alice was so straightforward with her. It is your story — you are well within your rights to handle it any way you want. People can decide on their own if they want to continue reading. I have heard of people before who have done something similar on being diagnosed with cancer. You really have to walk in that person’s shoes if you want to pass judgment. My two cents, at least. I look forward to the next chapter and I hope Dana can handle the news and be able to support Alice with the pregnancy and her mom with her illness. Thanks, Amanda92688!

    2. Just when I thought all was going “Happy Danish”, and came another twist. I felt very bad for Sharon because she could not tell D sooner. Hopefully, they could work it out before time ran out. I was actually enjoying the part where A was at the woman’s center. Thinking after all the crazy chapters with George, these two could have some fun. I suppose this is life whether we like it or not. Looking forward to your next post. Thank you Amanda92688!

    3. I’m sorry for Sharon, but having cancer is not an excuse for treating Alice like that. I don’t have a problem with the way Sharon chose to handle her disease, I just don’t get it why someone has to die. But it’s your story, you can do whatever you want with it and, honestly, the only thing that could keep me from continuing to read it would be if you killed Dana or Alice. Thanks for the update and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
