    Sooo, Will the queen get pregnant? – a different kind of Bette and Tina beginning



    Previously on ‘like a fairytale’:

    As Maxime radiantly told Mary-Anne she had found out she was pregnant, the queen tried to respond to the news with the happiness it deserved… But instead she burst out in tears.

     

    Maxime approached her cautionaly

     

    Whats wrong, Mary-Anne… Dont cry… Whats wrong? The ladys maid asked, softly touching the royal womans arm while sitting beside her on the bed.

     

    Im so sorry Maxime, Im truely happy for you! Its just that… Leo and I so desperatly want to  have a child and it just… I just… The queen hid her face in her hands I will never concieve… The queen continues to sob softly and Maxime had no words to offer for comfort… All she could do was stroke the blonde curls and offer her shoulder for the other woman to cry on…

    Chapter 1

     

     

    It took another week before Maxime came running to the castle, trying to catch her breath before entering the royal bedroom after knocking.

     

    I have it! the ladys maid cried out discovering Mary-Anne in a dark corner of the room.

    My, I think I have the solution to your problem!

     

    The queens face lit up and and she listened carefully as Maxime told her a woman of magic was living in the castles forrest. No-one was sure whether she was a witch or a fairy. They only talked… gossiped… about the strange powers of a female creature deep in the forest.

     

    It was a long shot, but the queen, desperate as she was, decided to take the chance, not informing her husband about the plan… She knew he would never approve, he despised magic and anything of the kind. He would do anything to get rid of the magical influence in the forest, and Mary-Annes chance would be gone…

     

    For the queen now believed this would be her only chance to ever concieve and she wanted a child more than anything in the world. Not for the crown, or the country, or the people… Not even for the king and his dear old mother Gabrielle. No it was a deep urge in herself to mother a child… To love and cherish it from the moment she knew of its existence…

    3. Wow! I love fairytales! This is uniquely different! Please, keep going with it. I am interested to see how it all unfolds. Your style of writing it makes me feel like I am a little girl at storytime in the library. LOL! Olease, continue. I think this is going to be sch a cute story.

    10. Oh, man I posted a message on the first chapter’s site. What a dummy I can be at times. I love this. September has placed a love curse on both Maxine’s and the queen’s babies. What is interesting is that the queen’s baby is a girl, does Maxine know that her baby is also a girl? Can’t wait for the fireworks to begin.
