    Little Things 15-18

    Chapter 15

Tina decided she would order dinner since the impromptu dinner didn’t give her any time to prepare.  She was also starting to feel more and more tired so she opted to save what energy she had as she knew she would need it.

Upon arriving home, she called in the order and checked to make sure she had plenty of wine.  Oh how she wished she could have a glass.

She sat down and pulled the letter out of her purse.

    “Dear Tina,

I’m so sorry for what I’ve done to you.  You and I have worked so hard to get to where we are today and it hurts me more than I can say to lose that.  But Jodi’s right.  I’m too close to you and if I’m going to give our relationship a fair shot, I can’t ask her to compete with both your memory and you.

She said we have a special bond. I know we do- beyond just Angelica.  I will always love you.  I know someday when Jodi feels more secure with us that I’ll come to you and ask you to forgive me and maybe if you find it in your heart then we can be ‘us’ again.

For now, I wish you the best.  I would like nothing better than to be with you through your pregnancy but I don’t think that’s a good idea.  But, Tina, if you really need me, I’ll be there for you.  I swear.

You can let our friends know what is going on.  I can’t ask you to compromise your friendship with them because of my and Jodi’s relationship.

    Love Always,

    B

Tina carefully folded the letter, walked to her bedroom and put the letter in one of her drawers.

She sat on the bed and collected herself before getting up and making appetizers for the dinner.

    Chapter 16

Max and Helena were the first to arrive.  They said it was because they came straight from work but Tina knew it was to ensure that she wasn’t overdoing herself.

Tina mused that Helena should know 1st hand how hardy she was during pregnancy.

    1. “Shane and Alice entered and made quick work of uncorking the wines and getting themselves settled in.” …Was anyone else looking for Dana? …I know and accept her death, but subsconsciously I expected her to be in on this little Framily gathering. I guess bringing Dana back from the dead wouldn’t be very artistically prudent, would it? Well, I like your story as it is, the S1 feeling is so there. Max is an adequate substitute and including him only makes me more enamored of you as a writer. Thank you.

    2. Yeah whoa. I cannot get at all enough. Feel free to post another couple of chapters. Here in Germany it’s 9.30 in the morning now. So I have all day long time to read it.

    3. Kick Jodi’s @ss to the curb and get my girls and my family back together!!!!!!!!!!! Arggghhhhhh! Anybody that doesn’t like children would not be around my child… regardless if she says she’s ok because it is MY child. That’s bullsh*t! Bette needs to wake the f*ck up and go back home to Tina and THEIR children! (wishful thinking) Great writing. I am up late trying to read every post. I’ve finally caught up to you. I await the next chapter(s). Just in case, I wasn’t very clear… I really don’t like Jodi in this story. She simply pisses me off big-time!
