Chapter 19
Tina stopped vacuuming and answered the phone.
“Hello”
“Hi Tina. Its Christa”
“Oh hi. How’s it going?” Tina positioned the phone on her should and began dusting.
“Good. Listen I was talking to Helena and she mentioned that you jog. Since being new to the area, I though I might tag along with you sometime?” She asked hopefully.
“Um, yeah sure. But I can’t go full out. I don’t know if Helena told you but I’m pregnant.”
There was a stunned silence. Obviously not, Tina thought.
“Oh wow. No she didn’t. That’s great” she hesitated. “I didn’t know you were seeing anyone.”
“I’m not” Tina answered. “Its something I’m doing on my own.”
“That’s great. I’d love to hear all about it. When do you think you might go for a run?”
“Actually I was thinking about going after I finish cleaning…about an hour?”
“Sounds good. I’ll meet you at your house then.”
Meanwhile…
“Hey Bette. How’s it going?”
“Fine Alice. What’s up?”
“Oh nothing. Just hoping you can meet Shane and I at the Planet for lunch? We haven’t seen you much lately”
“Well actually I need to hear over there to pickup Ang from Kit. She wanted to spend the morning with her.” Bette supplied
“You don’t say” Alice subconsciously rubbed her hands together.
“Yeah, I’m good for lunch. I’ll see you 12:30p?”
Alice gave the thumbs up sign to Shane who rolled her eyes and groaned in return.
Chapter 20
Bette arrived slightly late as usual, having spent the extra time in bed with Jodi before she took off to her workshop. Although, as usual. she felt no great desire to spend the day in bed with Jodi – not like she did when she was with Tina. Maybe she was just getting older.
“Hey little sis. Come sit with us?” Kit called out to Bette.
Bette joined Alice, Shane and Kit, snagging her daughter from her aunt.
“Hey baby” she greeted giddily as Ang giggled upon being tickled by her mom.
They sat down and were eating when Ang squealed. Bette followed where she was looking and saw a flushed and glowing Tina who had just entered followed closely by Christa.

I’ve been a little saddened by the absence of some of our favorite writers on this site. …As Mariah sang, “And then a hero comes along…” God, I’m quoting Mariah Carey. Well, you’re my hero for squashing Jenny. Although JennyX10 was one of the highlights of S4, your Jenny is an overthetop vindictive mess, and I love how you are making her the foil for all TPTB’s transgressions in the storyline department. Did I mention that I’m loving this story? Thanks so much for coming along!

I never get to respond after your chapters because you post so many, but I am definitely not complaining. I love that the gang want to get Bette and Tina on the same page as they were before Jodi made the big stink about them. I am still hoping that Bette finally gives up on Jodi and gets back with the one and only Tina Kennard. Besides Bette really would make an awesome mother of three and not just the one. Plus, there is not other love than Bette and Tina.

bette lets jodi control her life and it’s not healthy for the relationship, i don’t even see what bette is doing with her, they don’t have anything in common except art and their personalitites which doesn’t make them a match at all, i hope bette will see it soon…and i know you said it will be happy ending, so i’m happy and waiting ;)
