"That would be telling Bette, you know what they say I’m Yoda and all". Shane let out a small laugh careful to not wake the already sleeping child, "So you seem different, and its not because you’ve had sex it’s something else. Am I right?".

Both women made their way into the house, enjoying the comical way their conversations always questioned one another. Placing Angelica down in the play pen, fixing the blankets so they huddled into the small body, she felt satisfied Angelica would be ok. She joined Bette in the kitchen helping to unload the grocery bags.

"How do you do that, have you been spying through my windows?".

Shane looked up at Bette having unloaded a vast majority of alcoholic beverages; the romantic type. She was able to read Bette like the back of her hand, and it seems this relationship worked vice versa because Bette knew her to the very core.

"Why would I do that Bette, I’m not Alice it’s her job to be the crazy one of the group. Seems to be a romantic meal for two is on the horizon. Care to enlighten me?". Shane’s tone was soft, yet playful as she fished for the information she knew she had longed to hear. The anticipation almost willing her to meddle, but she thought better of it. No one likes when someone sticks there nose where its not wanted. She knew Bette could be temperamental and private; almost secretive when it came to her relationship with Tina.

"Shane, I don’t know maybe tonight is a celebration of realisation; never take the one you love for granted". Bette beamed and her friend understood completely, she had loved once and let it slip right through her fingers. But Bette and Tina had always given her hope, that one day when the time was right she could have all they had. She looked upto the love that was blatant for anyone to see, it was a display that held them together for so long. Even with all the bad things that had got entangled,  they remained together at one another’s side.  Although not as they had been it brought many adaptations of its own to everyone who witnessed this romance first hand.
