Lost, part 7
Previously…
For a moment it was as if all of the pain and fear were forgotten; nothing existed except Bette and Tina.
Even if they weren’t talking about everything they had been through or the horrible things they said and did to each other. What was left unsaid was more poignant than anything they could ever express in words.
As their bodies slammed together and they climbed higher and higher towards the inevitable orgasm they would share, they weren’t fucking, they weren’t avoiding; they were reconnecting.
Understanding.
Learning.
Loving.
Forgiving.
Themselves and each other.
Together.
———————————————————————————————————————
“Oh my god, I haven’t been this hung-over since college,” Tina said as she brought her hand to her forehead and massaged her temples. She contemplated opening her eyes, but thought better of it.
“Uh, why am I naked,” she said, not thinking as she reached out to wrap the bed sheet around her. She had yet to open her eyes, but when the blanket refused to budge she opened them slowly, believing she was in her own apartment.
A million thoughts ran through her mind all at once.
‘Who did I bring home last night?’
She struggled to remember, but could think of nothing but the pounding in her head. The last thing she could recall was trying to get into her car.
‘Ok, I had my cell phone. I must have called a cab. I know I talked to someone. Think Tina, Think!’
‘Ok, so someone was trying to help, maybe they just wanted to make sure I got home ok.’ She thought laughing out loud at the absurdity of that last comment.
‘Yeah, and then they just decided to undress me, put me to bed, get naked, and jump in with me.’
As gently as possible Tina tried again to get a hold of the sheet, but still, it refused to budge. She decided to try another tactic and just go for the comforter. But, like the sheet, the comforter wasn’t going anywhere either.
She had no choice. She had to find a way to move the person next to her. Deciding to attempt to free the comforter, she rolled onto her side so that she was facing her nameless partner’s back and gave the comforter a firm tug causing Bette to roll onto the floor, taking the comforter with her.

Yeah, I think I may have went to far with the Eliot poem, but I love it! Break ups are messy, and this scenerio would NEVER happen in real life, but this is more fun. I only wish more people would leave comments, Oh well.
wow…very good very good…can’t wait for next post
To bad the show did not go this direction. Still do not have a clue what will happen on the show but we do with your story. Tina was funny trying to get some covering for her cold body.

Way to go Jodie! Great chapter…and the last one, despite your nervousness, was fantastic!! Thanks!
I’d like to see it happen this way. Messy break-ups are messy.

I am glad that Bette could calm Tina down and tell her how she felt again. Jodi’s letter to Bette was wonderful and sweet. Great update!
