Bette’s POV

I was totally not expecting that. When Lou opened her hand holding this ring and proposed to me, my heart melted, it was just the cutest of the cutest. The moment will be burnt into my memory forever.
How unbelievably sweet and original was Tina to have our daughter propose to me, I wish I had of thought of it first. This has been the best night of my life and when I tell her about my baby plans later that will be the icing on the cake.
I hope by her proposing to me she doesn’t think I’m changing my name to Kennard nah-ah not gonna happen, no sir-ee, no way. It would be great if we all shared the same surname but Tina Porter has a much better ring to it than Bette Kennard. I’m of course hoping in light of this proposal Tina will allow me to adopt Louise. So here’s to us the Porter clan Bette, Tina and Louise Porter.
What a wonderful surprise, I’ll be certain to show her exactly what I thought of it once Lou’s asleep. Oh that reminds me we haven’t checked if you can hear anything from our room in hers. We can do that after we finish this ice cream.


Tina’s POV

Bette was totally not expecting that. Lou did her Mummy proud. That was just the cutest thing in the world. I’m so happy that I could include her in this, it just made it that much more special.
I’m surprised she could contain her excitement during dinner and she’s even held her tongue about me wanting a baby ASAP. Yes my baby knows when to keep mum when she’s rewarded with ice cream.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Bette as happy as when Lou revealed the ring and said “Mama will you marry us” she was totally besotted. I’m not sure if Bette understood the US part as meaning we, me and Lou want her to adopt her.
I know in our hearts we are a family but I’d like to make it legal. Our union as wife and wife and their’s officially as mother and daughter. The Kennard family, Bette Kennard haha I like the sound of that.
I think I’m in for major celebrating later, going by the look Bette keeps giving me. Oh ***** we forgot to check if you can hear anything from our room in hers. It’s ok we can do it after we finish this ice cream.


Lou’s POV

That was fun. Mummies are so happy all I do was give Mama the round thingee and say “Mama will you marry us” what eva that is and I get ic cream. Yipee ic cream. Mmmm I love ic cream any choclit, stawbewy, bananie, wocky road, hokey pokey, ic cream, ic cream, ic cream. Why they eat so fast.
Maybees if I tell the otha secwets I get somesings else. Yes I do afta the ic cream.

Tina and Bette quickly ate their portion of the ice cream, now hurrying Louise to finish hers, so they could put her down and they could get on with the celebrating. Louise finally finished, she looked at them both with a satisfied grin and licked her lips “Mmm mmm yummy for ma tummy” she said as she rubbed her stomach.
They all laughed. Bette was about to stand up to take the bowl to the kithen. “Mama” Lou said grinning at Bette.
Bette sat back down. “Yeah sweetie.”
“Mummy” she said looking at Tina with a mischievious twinkle in her eye, grabbing both Tina and Bette’s hands.
“Yes.” Tina answered with a raised brow.
“Mummies” she giggled looking at each of them.
“Yeessss.” They replied giving each other a ‘what now’ look.
“Mummies” she giggled “Mama, Mummy have baby” she said to Bette “Mummy, Mama have baby” she said to Tina.
“What your pregnant!” They said in shock looking at each other.
“Who me” they said pointing at themselves.”No”
“Wait a minute, I’m confused” Bette said waving her arms infront of her. “So I’m not pregnant and your not either.”
“No” Tina shook her head.
“Lou would you like to tell us what you mean.” Bette asked a giggling Louise.”
“You no hear” Louise said “I say, Mummy have baby and Mama have baby, we have two baby.” Now jumping around with her arms waving around repeating “yippee two baby.”

Louise stopped once something else caught her fancy. She hopped on her big shoe bike. She zoomed around the lounge saying “vroom vroom” while occassionally bumping into the furniture.
All thought’s of Louise going to bed were dismissed she was wide awake and full of energy due to her late afternoon nap. So they decided to let her burn herself out.
Tina took the bowl to the kitchen followed by Bette. “So is what Lou said true.” Tina asked “You want us to start trying for a baby.”
“Well T that was actually going to be my surprise.” Bette grabbed Tina placing their foreheads together and said “Not only do I want to start trying, but I also want to carry our child.”
“Really baby?” Tina asked excitedly wrapping her arms around and nuzzling her face into Bette’s neck.
“Absolutely.” Bette replied. “So I take it you had a similar idea as me.”
“Exactly why wait.” Tina replied “I loved being pregnant, feeling this perfect little life growing inside me. I can’t believe you want to do it Bette, this is so exciting you’ll love it.”
Bette pulled away with a raised eye brow and said. “So what do you think about Lou’s idea, two babies?”
“Yeah right babe. Do you really think we could handle another two Louise’s.” Tina said looking over at Louise who was still zooming around. “Not to mention the fact that there’d be two incredibly moody, cranky, hormonal and horny woman living under one roof with a two year old.” She added.
“Why not! Sounds good to me.” Bette smiled.
