“Positive – we’re meeting Peggy at 8 by the way -just in case you haven’t marked that down on your schedule “
“Cheeky “ Bette said
“That’s me – and you love me for it “
“I do – I need to get back – I’ve got a book to pick up from the short loan section of the library
and I’ve only got it until 10am so I need to get a lot of notes taken and photocopy a couple of chapters “
“Okay – what time are we heading home ? “
Bette glanced at her watch “5:30 okay for you ? “
“Fine by me – now kiss me and go “
Bette softly kissed Tina on the lips “ I love you “ she whispered
“I love you more “
Bette stroked her hand down Tina’s hip and rested it against her pubic bone
“You just have NO idea what you do to me “
“I think I am smart enough to know what I do to you “ Tina replied
“I sometimes wish we had somewhere on campus where we could make love during the day “
“A little love nest “ Tina said chuckling
“Yeah – because I would have you there now and be inside you “
Tina felt her clit twitching – oh God – this was not helping her

Bette moved her hand but Tina turned round

“Well go and get your book and I’ll see you at the car “
“Bye “ Bette kissed Tina one last time and hurried out of the bookshop. Tina watched her leave and smiled – what the hell was she going to do with her ? She turned her attention back to the pens and books – looking for a gift for her lover.
“She is getting fresh these days “ Tina turned at the voice and her face hardened when she saw who the voice belonged to
“Jodie “
“So Bette has told you who I am “
“I knew who you were “ Tina said coldly
“Since I came back I have seen you around about half a dozen times and each time you look hotter “
“Jodie – don’t waste your time “
“If I’m talking to a sexy lesbian I’m never wasting my time “

“Last term I thought that Bette was the hottest of the two of you but I am re-thinking my assessment – you are strong as well as hot “
Tina moved to walk past Jodie but she put her hand on Tina to stop her. Tina rounded on her
“Now listen to me because I will only say this once you stupid tart. We are in a monogamous relationship – monogamy – one partner only. If I have to have this conversation with you again you will be eating a dictionary through a feeding tube. I am not going to cheat on her and she is not going to cheat on me – you come near either of us again and I will make you regret the day you heard my name – now get out of my fucking face “
Tina pushed Jodie aside and walked out of the bookshop and headed to the squash courts.

Gee, maybe Tina and Bette should learn when to give Helena some space and back off? Yeah, Helena behaved badly, but they really should have stopped. Must have been like dealing with Peggy for Helena, after she’d already been rubbed raw by already having dealt with Peggy. And Peggy IS her mother, a mother who often did not do right by her daughter, even if she has provided her with all the material comforts. And I guess it was OK for Tina to totally rage at Jodie rather than deal with her rationally, because why? Jodie is the defacto bad guy? No expectation of trying to maintain a familial relationship with her? What was that about the pot and the kettle?
And maybe Bette needs to cool it with the VERY PDAs before SHE gets hauled in front of the magistrate? How would a public lewdness charge go down with Peggy, let alone Melvin?

Helena needs a punch in the face. Tina’s Mom used to beat her, her father was largely absent, and her grandparents cut her off for falling in love. Helena has poor little rich girl syndrome. She fucked up. She needs to handle it. It isn’t anyone elses fault but her own. Bette and Tina have been the only ones standing by her..and this is how she repays them? Nice. I think they have been nicer to her than she deserves. I hope Jodi finally steps off. What a creepy predator. There must be other people to chase after. Yeah, anyone who continually tries to hit on people in a relationship is a pretty bad person. PPS.
I still love this story. How cool you can continue having more than one quality story going at once.pps

I’m glad Tina has a level head about all of this, because Hels most certainly does not. I suppose constantly battling for a parent’s approval that never seems to come gets a bit trying after a while. But maybe, just maybe, if Helena stopped screwing up, she wouldn’t have to have herself held up to the standard of Bette or Tina. I do get the feeling though, that B and/or T will screw up at some point, and the fallout will be spectacular. Maybe then Helena can gloat. As of now though, Hels owes Tina an apology. Thanks for the great update, ally.

We absolutely agree with Audi’s comment. She grasped the whole situation on this chapter. Helena is a spoiled young woman (extremely bitchy) and she needs to cool off. On the other hand, Jodi was a total jerk (only speaking hypothetically). Tina, kept her cool and Bette really has turned around about Alice’s denial to accomplish her assignments in due time. We do believe Bette really wants to help her, as well as encouraging their friends to become an active part to get Alice back on the road. As for you, Ally please take good care of your self. It’s pretty shitty here, in Mexico City; rainy and cold weather. Hang in there, Ally! Keep your liquids coming in to help you improve your condition (perhaps, some lemon tea, or something, could be magical to you). Do not stress up. Give yourself a rest and try to keep your chin up.
