Love In Blue ch. 6
Over the next couple of weeks Tina and I took every opportunity to steal a kiss and loving looks at one another. Every time she smiled at me, my heart skipped a beat. I tried my best to not let her distract me from my work, but she occupied my every waking thought. We were so careful not to get caught, and we tried to cool it at work, but we couldn’t stop. I walked down the stairs and opened the door to the second floor; I got a page from the ICU nurse’s station.
“Did someone page me,” I asked Cheryl, the clerk.
“Nah Bette, notta page here.”
“Hmm, that’s strange, I wonder if it was a mistake,” I said looking up, finding Tina staring at me, she gestured me to follow her.
“Yeah, well, if I find out who did, I’ll call ya.”
“Thanks Cheryl,” I said and walked down the hall. I saw Tina walk into the storage room and I followed. As soon as the door closed, she pulled me into a passionate kiss. Our tongues battled for dominance, our breathing got heavy. Reluctantly I pulled away and rested my head against hers.
“You look beautiful today.”
“Bette! I’m at work, my hair’s flat, I’m in my scrubs and I look a mess,” she said and smiled.
“You’re a beautiful mess; your blue scrubs bring out your gorgeous eyes.”
“Bette,” she exclaimed slapping my arm.
“I have to get back upstairs,” I said kissing her once more, “very sly paging me.”
She grinned at me and went out of the door on the left and I went out on the right. No one saw us go in, so we very slyly got away with yet another secret kiss. I walked down the hallway and smiled to myself. I walked back into the P.T. gym and sat and opened my book. I was reading for a few minutes until I heard my phone vibrate, won’t be at lunch, new admin, ugh! Dinner tonight? I read. Of course. I reply, I’d rather have a quiet dinner with just the two of us, away from Alice’s gossipy eyes. I continue to read until I realize it is time for lunch. I walk to the cafeteria and I order my lunch. I seek out my friends and we all sit at our usual table.

Sigh… So heartbreaking! Does love has to be that painful? Is there a way out for this kind of love?? Such a great writing with a deep message here OliviaKelly :-) thanks for sharing and I absolutely looking forward to the next update from you :-)
Thou it break my heart.. [Just like Bette’s] Alice and Shane were right, Nothing good will came out from this. And the final scene of this chap. Hope Tina Knows what she wants?.. FOR THE SAKE OF EVERYONE..
*tear* poor Bette, they need to be together, they’re so happy
Please fix this.Great story,thank you.
Oh damn this is sad and they need to work thing out. Please post more, thanks!
Oh my dear, such pain and heartbreak for those two. Hope it all ends well with them. That kind of love is so painful and just leaves a trail of heartbreak for everyone. So sorry you had to go thru this and now you can write about it just amazes me. Of course, this is fanfiction and the ending can change and everyone can be happy. Right? Thanks for posting.
Oh man this was such a heavy chapter :-( Alice and Shane couldn’t be more right though. The continuation of this relation would only inflict more pain on all involved. I was actually a bit disappointed when I read that Tina had returned. She needs to ante up and sort things out with Eric before they have any hope of moving forward. Anyway i’m enjoying this story a great deal. PPS. Thank you for sharing OliviaKelly.
As annoying as Alice is in this story she also correct. Bette did the right thing, I know that Tina’s marriage is on the rocks but she isn’t divorced yet, she should not be propositioning Bette in anyway. This is what I’m talking about, why do we want equal rights in marriage again? Thanks for the awesome post Miss Olivia. I love your storytelling style.
Tina isn’t making this easy. Anxious to read what happens next. PPS!
