Previously…
‘Baby! She called me baby,’ Shane thought and smiled. “You promise?” she asked.
“I promise,” Alice said and kissed Shane on the cheek.
They both got out of the car, walked to the door, and rang the doorbell.
TBC…
Tina and Kit were in the kitchen, Bette and the kids were out back by the pool when the doorbell rang.
“Alice and Shane are back! Let’s go get them!” shouted the kids.
The boys went one way and the girls went the other, beating the boys to Alice and Shane.
“Come quick or they’ll get you!” said Casey.
“They’ve got water guns!” demanded Angelica.
Alice went quickly to the girls. She didn’t want the tape to get wet. Shane stood there for a minute, shrugged it off as the girls were waving her to come with them, and started following them when the boys popped around the corner with their water guns loaded and ready to fire.
Shane took off running past the girls and thru the backdoor. She didn’t want to get wet, not on those terms.
“Shane, there are extra suits in the drawer over there if you want to get in,” Tina said.
“Which drawer?” Shane asked.
"The top drawer on the left,” Tina replied.
“O.K.” Shane answered back. She went thru the drawer and found a swimsuit like the one she had back home, looked at the size, and went to put it on.
Back outside…
“Halt or be sprayed!” demanded the boys.
The girls turned around and looked at the boys. Their water guns were loaded and ready to spray.
“Look guys,” Alice started, “I’ve got a very important video tape from Aunt Dana in the mail yesterday. I haven’t gotten a chance to watch it yet. The letter that came with it instructed me to watch it with your moms.”
“O.K. Auntie Al. You can go, but can we watch it?” asked Michael.
“I don’t know,” Alice stated. “That would be up to your moms. You’ll have to ask them.”
“O.K.,” the boys agreed and hugged Alice getting her semi-wet.
“All right, now go play,” Alice stated as she started thru the backdoor.
“Tina,” Alice announced. “Where are you?”
“Where else do you think I’d be?” Tina asked. “I’m in the kitchen.”

I am glad that they are laughing and spending time together. When that tape begins to roll there are going to be a lot of tears flowing. Shane and Alice do make a cute couple and I can not wait to see Bette and Tina reconnect in the bedroom even though Bette has that cast on her hand.

Shane and Alice are cute together. I wonder if Alice will have to step to that blonde cop at Kit’s opening and let her know that Shane is her woman? :o)
I was away for like 3 days so I had to play catchup…I didn’t comment on the other chapters because I wanted to catchup with everyone. I love this story I am waiting for the full B&T reunion. I don’t think I’ve seen a Shane & Alice pairing so this should be interesting.
