As they piled in, Cowgirl’s shaded eyes were all that could be seen in the rearview as she lowered the tinted divider. “Where to?” Everyone but Rayne called out a destination. She was fast asleep! Katey threw her hands up and a hush fell over the wank think tank. “Ok gals, hold your horses, no pun Cowy. But I got an idea.”

Alice, Shane, Dana, Lara, Bette, Tina, Marina, and Jenny now all stood in front of the Planet.

Alice: “How the?”

Shane: “Don’t ask. I’m just glad to be home!”

They were all, with the exception of Marina, sitting at a couple tables that Shane and Alice had pushed together. Marina runs the joint, she had to work. They were discussing what to do the following day for the Weho Gay Pride Parade. Bette listened on as Alice embellished a bit on last years details and how they just had to top it. Tina froze as she watched Bette yawn a rhinoceros size yawn in front of her. Actually, it caused the entire table to freeze and Alice, to stop talking.

Alice: “My God Bette. For a second there I thought I was watching a National Geographic special on the Discovery Channel!”

Bette: “I’m exhausted. Tina, can we…”

Alice: “What are you talking about, Tina can we? Bette, It’s 8:30 at night. How could you possibly be tired? We have plans to make for tomorrow’s festivities.”

Dana: “I’m kind of tired too you guys.”

Dana looked over at Lara and shot off what she thought was a wink on the down low!

Alice: “I saw that! Ok…there will be plenty of time for … wink wink later Dana! Ladies, we have a float to build!”

Shane: “The what now?”

Alice: “That’s right ladies, you heard me. A float! We are going to be representing the Planet in this year’s Weho Gay Pride Parade.”

Tina: “It’s 8:30 at night Alice! How in the name of God are we supposed to build a float by tomorrow?”

Alice: “With a little bit of elbow grease and a lot a bit of God’s love Tina. I have almost everything we need right in the back room here.”
