“Oh of all the places I’ve been I like the Great Wall of China. It is really amazing.”

“Wow you’ve been to China too? That’s great to hear.” Alice said as she sipped her coffee.

“I have very much travelled to most of the countries in Asia like Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam and etc. Oh Alice you must follow me to one of these countries one day. You will see how different their cultures are from us.”

“Well I would like to but you know work.”

“Hmm, that’s what I always tell your father don’t put so much pressure on you. You are still young and you should enjoy. And Dana too I heard from your dad she is a workaholic just like you.”

 Yeah and very much a womanizer too, Alice muttered under her breath.

“What is it dear?”

“Hmm, nothing I wonder what took her so long that’s all.” Alice looked at her watch. What took her so long? She is not trying to run away is she? She was so deep in thought that she flinched when her granny took her hand.

“Alice dear I am so happy for you. My little grandchild is finally settling down with the person she loves. So how’s this Dana?”

“Thanks granny hmm she is fine.” Alice tried not to stutter her granny could read her like a book.

“I can’t wait to see her.”

Alice could see a genuine smile planted on her granny’s lips.

“Hi.” Both women turned their heads to where the voice came from. Dana made her way beside Alice and nodded at her granny to acknowledge her. Both women stood up to greet her.

“Hmm, granny this is Dana and Dane this is my granny Susan.”

“Nice to meet you granny.” Dana smiled.

“Nice to meet you too Dana, come on give old granny a hug would ya?”

“Sure.” Both women hugged for few seconds and pulled away.

“So granny I heard that you have just arrived from India.” Dana said as she sat beside Alice and wrapped her arm around Alice’s shoulder in a very natural way. Alice tried to keep on smiling.

Susan smiled happily looking at the lovely couple.

“It’s Susan.” Susan said. Dana nodded.
