Bette woke up and stretched.. put her arm out and ran her hand along Tinas bare back.

Mmm said Tina as she wriggled a bit further away.

Bette moved closer and kissed Tinas back Hey sleepy head….

Gway.. Tina mumbled into the sheets.

Bette kissed her again Ill put on the coffee

Mmmhmm Tina said again and tried to go back to sleep.

Bette grabbed her robe and walked over to Rosies bassinette Good morning Rosie she said quietly to her daughter who was sleeping peacefully. She gently touched her cheek and tucked the covers around her then she walked into the kitchen to put on the coffee maker. She checked the fridge took out fruit and yogurt and put together a breakfast tray.

She crept back into the room with the tray, placed it at the foot of the bed then climbed onto the bed and straddled Tina who was lying on her stomach. She warmed her hands and started to gently massage Tinas shoulders.

Mmm said Tina appreciatively keep going.

Bette leaned over and kissed her. Breakfasts ready..

As they sipped their coffee Bette broached the subject which had been on her mind T dont you think its time to visit the parents..show Rosie off?

Tina closed her eyes briefly, almost pleading with Bette Babe..I really dont want to..my Mom doesnt seem to care and Melvin..well.. Tina rolled her eyes.

But my Mom really wants to see Rosie, you know that .. Bette almost begged Please T..I want to show off my girls..

Tina still looked reluctant Cant we just invite her to LA some time rather than visiting …it seems so far and Rosies never flown

Shell be a natural she grabbed Tinas hand nearly spilling the coffee Oh..cmon T, shed love to see Rosie..itll be fun.

Tina seriously doubted that but at least shed asked first rather than coming home with tickets already booked to surprise her When?

Next weekend? said Bette hopefully.

Tina put her coffee down and buried under the covers, pulling them up over her head.

Bette laughed Oh cmon its not that bad.

She pulled the covers up and saw Tinas naked body and suddenly the arguments shed been about to voice slipped away from her mind. She wriggled down alongside Tina, ran her hands through Tinas hair, kissed her on the shoulder; stroked her back. Since Tina had returned to her she found it almost impossible not to touch her each time she was near her. She didnt want them to grow apart again; she never wanted Tina to doubt that she loved her.

She wrapped her arms around Tinas body and they lay locked together hidden underneath the covers giggling like naughty school girls.

Tina finally threw the covers back..OK..alright.. you win..

For a moment Bette couldnt remember what it was theyd been discussing then it hit her Great baby..you wont regret it..Ill make all the arrangements OK…you wont have to worry about anything.. she kissed her and slipped out of bed to phone her mother.

Tina shook her head and smiled wryly, Maggie was always interesting but living with her was well difficult..she wondered if it was too late to persuade Bette that they should stay in a hotel instead of with Maggie. Four women under one roof, even if one wasnt old enough to talk, was always a strain especially when two were so alike in temperament.
