    Chapter 4…It’s 8:05

     
     Bette rubbed her eyes as she turned off the various lights that were on throughout the house.  She coughed to clear her throat, knowing she was in jeopardy of losing her voice after finishing multiple interviews with Art World, being on a plane with recycled air the majority of the day, and tonight singing to Angelica the repetitive chorus of the ever-popular Taylor Swift song.  She flicked the last light off before following the soft glow of light coming from the master bedroom.  She walked casually toward the glow, anticipating Tina waiting for her.

    Bette smiled as she leaned on the door jam, watching Tina frantically typing on her iPhone.   It certainly wasn’t the image Bette had built up in her head, but an appealing one nonetheless.  Tina was muttering to herself, which was something that once annoyed Bette but had somehow become charming over the years.

    “I can’t possibly meet this,” Tina muttered, biting her lower lip in concentration as she continued typing as quickly as the iPhone would allow.

    “You can do almost anything,” Bette said seductively as she moved toward the bed.  “It’s way past 8:05, but I’m hoping the invite is still good?”

    “You might have to work for it,” Tina teased as she tossed the device onto the bedside table.  “I never want to listen to Taylor Swift again.”

    “That makes two of us,” Bette smiled as she brushed her lips against Tina’s, flicking her tongue teasingly before pulling back to look into Tina’s eyes.  “When did she become such a fan?”

    “When she learned the words, compliment of a day spent with Auntie Alice, and Shane assuring Angie that Taylor Swift was cool.”  Tina’s hands hungrily reached for the belt loops on Bette’s jeans, pulling Bette closer to her and the bed. 

    Bette placed one leg, then the other, on the mattress straddling Tina’s body while she placed light kisses against her lips.   She tangled her hands in Tina’s hair, pulling it away from her face so that she could take in every detail of her face. 

    “So I have Alice to thank for telling Angie about my expertise and for Taylor Swift?”

    Bette leaned down and kissed Tina’s smiling lips.

    “Desperate times,” Tina mumbled as she ran her hands up Bette’s shirt, feeling the delicious way Bette’s muscles flexed under her fingers, “call for desperate measures.”

    4. GUMBY!! Ahh, it’s so great to see your posts again. It’s interesting to read how Maxine is collecting all the info on Bette and her life before she trys to reconnect. I think her “stalker type” approach would freak me out a bit but maybe Bette will be cool with it. I’m curious to see how you’ll write that encounter. And just for the record, I’ve had my fill of Taylor Swift songs too! LOL!PS.

    8. Hey Gumby, Great update as Bette and Tina reunite in the most intimate and carnal manner.This is so sweet given the time they have been away from each. You have shown how deep their attraction and understanding of each other is.Hot monkey loving is delicious and sexy as hell.I do hope to read of how Tina repays her debt to Bette soon. Maxine and Kit’s discussion was interesting as some of Maxine’s reasons are being revealed. I do think that she needs to speak to Bette even just to give her daugther the opportunity to cut off future contact.I can’t wait to read more of this awesome adventure.     9. Wow the shivers you have betwen Tina and Bette. Awesome. Now are we getting that Maxine had a drug problem??? wow you would have thought that Kit would get it. Wow I’m in hook line an sinker. Can’t wait for the next chapter.
