The rest of Sunday follows in the same fashion, with the brunette biting her lip, and Tina waiting for the brunette to crack.

Monday night Tina is out with friends and returns home once Bette is already in bed.

Tuesday Bette works late, Tina attempts a bit of light flirtation but gets nowhere. They manage to plan their second date. This time Tina chooses a location. She has heard about an exhibition across town that would interest both her and Bette. For the first time in a few days they both manage to act civilized.

When they get back they have forgotten about the little battle that has been playing out between them. Bette again walks Tina to her bedroom door.

“Tina I had a fantastic time tonight. Thank you” They are both facing each other holding hands.

“I’m glad. I really had a great time too” Tina looks down, blushing.

Bette smiled at how Tina could be so boisterous in one moment, but then sweet and innocent in the next. Bette’s hold on Tina’s fingers tightened slightly as she pulled the blonde forwards, Tina lifts her head as Bette places a soft kiss on her lips. Tina breathes in, closing her eyes. This kiss was so gentle, their lips barely parted. They could feel each other’s breath. Bette pulled back, looking at a peaceful Tina with her eyes closed. Bette couldn’t help but lean back in kissing both of Tina’s eyelids and then her mouth before pulling back.

The blonde smiled, watching the gorgeous brunette walk away. Tina walked into her room and changed into her PJ’s before going to the bathroom to freshen up for bed. As she walked out in to the hallway she could see the light from under Bette’s door, she suddenly had a thought. Grinning she crept up the hallway, putting her ear to Bette’s door. She could hear some water running, ‘Great she’s in the bathroom’. Tina quietly opens the door and enters Bette’s dimmed room, closing the door quietly and runs to the bed. She quickly climbs in. ‘Oh my god, I’m in Bette’s bed! Oh my god it smells amazing’. She quickly remembers why she’s there, and lies as flat as possible, trying not to make a noise.

She begins to giggle at the silliness of the moment. The more she tries to stop herself, the worse it gets. She doesn’t hear the light to the bathroom switch off.

Bette walks out of the bathroom, wearing her white tank top and white cotton trousers. She scrunches her eyes at the sudden weird noise. She looks across the dimly lit room immediately seeing a lump in her bed, a lump that seemed to be shaking with quiet giggles. Bette puts her hand on her mouth, smiling. ‘Could this girl get any cheekier?’ she thinks smiling. Bette walks to her bed looking down wondering what her move should be.

Suddenly Tina stops laughing, feeling a presence, and noticing the room is silent. All of a sudden the duvet flies off of the bed. Tina lets out a little scream.

“Right you” Bette says leaning in pulling Tina up into a sitting position, pulling her forward and over her shoulder. ‘You are a nightmare”, Bette says smacking her on the bum.

“Hey! Oh can’t we share a bed? I promise I won’t touch you!” Tina giggles. Bette continues into Tina’s room, gently dropping her on to the bed.

“Stay!” Bette says. “And you were behaving so well”

“Bette, come on, we’ve been on two dates, you can put out now. I will do whatever you want.” Tina winks, opening her legs seductively.

“Good, what I want you to do is close your eyes and go to sleep.”

“If you kiss me I will” Tina says raising both eyebrows quickly followed with a toothy grin.

“Sleep, if you come out of your room again before morning you’re in trouble”

“No jurisdiction remember!” Tina says to the departing brunette.

‘Fuck she is a handful’ Bette thinks as she walks down the hallway.
