Tina gently bites Bette’s shoulder, truly enjoying the tease. She heads to the utility room, to fetch some washing. She bends down grabbing a handful, as she stands back up she feels a hand over her mouth. Bette holds her tightly, quickly reaching down dipping her hand into her panties. Tina tries to fight her off, but there is no hope. The blonde stands allowing Bette to get her revenge.

“Tina hunny?” Katherine can be heard in the hallway.

The distraction is all it takes for Tina to remove Bette’s hand from her mouth and shout “In here!”

“Oh you shit” Bette whispers.

Tina quickly leaves the room, leaving Bette to quickly clean up.

“I’ll be with you in a minute mum” Tina can be heard saying as she heads to the bathroom.

Bette leaves the utility room, disappointed at her attempted revenge. She walks to the kitchen.

“Would you like to some wine Katherine?” She asks.

“I would love a glass”

“Red?” Bette holds up a bottle.

“Perfect” Katherine grins sitting at the breakfast bar.

Bette begins to pour.

“So Bette. You’re the one responsible for my little girl’s renewed happiness”

“Umm, sorry excuse me?” Bette quickly asks, trying to hide the shock of the comment. She passes Katherine a glass.

Katherine just grins, knowing Bette had heard her perfectly clearly.

“I guess you’ve not been around to overhear some of mine and Tina’s phone conversations. She is forever singing your praises.”

“Oh yes, well I’m fond of Tina. She’s a…” – ‘Oh my god what do I say?’ – “…lovely young woman, you must be proud” Bette almost chokes on her own words.

“I am, thank you Bette. But please you can drop the pretense. I know you and Tina are merely not just friends. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen her this besotted with anyone.”

Bette is for once speechless.

“Relax, Tina and I have always been very close.” Katherine puts her hands on Bette’s arm. “It’s not a complete surprise to me.”

“Have you discussed this with Tina?” Bette asks, wanting to step carefully.

“I was hoping she would tell me herself”.

“I believe she is going to tonight. That’s why I’m heading out, to give you both some space”

“Please Bette, I would appreciate it if you could keep this to yourself.” Katherine winks.
