    Alice and Dana have a surprise for everyone, Bette and Tina get engaged again, Shane and Carmen decide to try to make it work, and Helena and Lara take a step to reclaim their lives. (Did I mention that Beth Kenyon and Peggy Peabody join forces to give Gail Guthrie everything she deserves?)

    Los Angeles is a town where a phone call changes lives. Beth Kenyon spent a mere twenty minutes on the phone and irrevocably altered the course of Gail Guthrie’s life. She sealed the deal by giving an on the record interview, along with Dana and Alice, about the treachery to which Gail had subjected them in order to get her way. By two o’clock, Robbie Ansep had interviewed Winnie Mann by telephone and secured independent sources who confirmed everything she’d been told.

    Based on all of the substantiating evidence and the star power of Beth Kenyon and Dana Fairbanks, Vanity Fair picked up the feature by three. When that word got out, Gail’s former clients, employees and colleagues started lining up to go on the record. By five o’clock on Saturday evening, Gail Guthrie’s spectacular crash and burn was complete and Helena Peabody, with Peggy’s full approval, exercised her option to dismiss Gail from her own firm, with cause. She didn’t even get a courtesy buyout offer.  In the end, the woman had been the architect of her own demise.

    “My dears, after everything she’s done,” Peggy said with a Cheshire grin, “I say we hit her where she lives with impunity. That business is the only thing she seems to care about, so if we take it, and her ability to work again, I’d almost call it even.” She paused and sipped her single malt scotch thoughtfully. “Now all that’s left is to make sure Winnie pays a fair price for her complicity…and for what she did to our lovely Alice.”

    As planned, emails went out to all employees informing them that, as a result of an agreement in principle to merge, they were now employees of Weidler, Morgan and Associates, with logistical details to follow. By weekend’s end, the entirety of Guthrie Public Relations’ client list signed with WM&A, thanks to personal telephone calls from Peggy Peabody and Beth Kenyon. Tina and Helena secured the rights, across all media, to writer Robbie Ansep’s behind the scenes true story of the rise and fall of a Hollywood power mogul. Not bad for a few hours’ work. That is, unless, of course, you happened to be one Gail Guthrie.

    “Tell me you two have a plan,” Kit greeted Alice and Dana from behind the counter at The Planet. “I think it’s sweet and romantic that Bette and Tina both want to propose, but you know it will be a disaster if one of them does it before the other.”

I agree with everyone that has made comments so far this story was one of the best I have read it made you laugh it made you cry it made you shout at the monitor….a few times I had to go and have a cold shower. Please start another Danish fanfic soon as your story will be very much missed. I so totally think u should have got and award…..u were a winner in my eyes.Take Care

    6. OK so I was thinking damn I wish Sammy would fit in one more roll in the hay for the road and man did you. What a perfect finale and no one had to die. I love that each necklace was personalized it was a beautiful little twist on an already amazing get together. I can’t believe you were at all worried and I can’t believe its taken me this long to get to it, I smell a sequel. I like that Dana wants to carry the baby but a pregnant Alice would be just too adorable for words. Hope we can convince you to write another, don’t know what I’ll do without my Lucky fix. Great Chapter BMB perfect with a capital T (so perfecT)

You are a terrific writer with the ability to really bring all of the characters to life – even found myself enjoying the tibette story (shocker!). Looking forward to whatever comes next.
