"So I heard that this whole marriage is a sham," Alice said in a low whisper.

"Stop gossiping will ya!" Bette scolded, "it’s my second day here and I don’t need trouble with the wife."

"Oh come on, Angus asked all of us if we were gay and hired us if we said yes!" Alice said, "and when I asked him why he asked he said his wife was gay too!"

"Still Alice, she may be in the closet," Bette said.

"Oh I don’t think so," Jenny chirped from the kitchen, "she told me herself yesterday. She said her dad forced her to marry when he found out about it."

"Oh that’s so horrible," Bette said.

"You met her!" Alice jumped out of her chair excitedly, "is she hot?"

"Why don’t you tell me?" Came a voice from behind them.

Alice jumped and Bette snapped her head around while Jenny laughed. Bette’s eyes widened when she saw her. The most beautiful woman she had ever seen in her entire life. Of course with her luck she happened to be her boss and also the woman who would mother her biological child.

"So am I?" Tina asked teasingly.

"Uhh, I uhh," Alice stammered.

"I think that means yes," Jenny laughed, "and judging from the look on Bette’s face that’s a yes too."

Bette snapped out of it looking away with a dark blush on her cheeks. She felt Tina’s eyes on her.

"So you two are my maids?" She said stepping forward.

"Yes ma’am," Alice answered, "Alice. And I apologize for…"

"No it’s okay," Tina smiled shaking her hand, "the point of hiring maids was to have some friends around the house. Please don’t see me as a boss but as a friend. That also means don’t call me ma’am, but call me Tina."

Tina looked at Bette and cleared her throat. Bette straightened up blushing and saying, "I’m sorry, my name is Bette."

"Very nice to meet you Bette," Tina smiled shaking her hand.

"At your service ma…Tina," Bette said.

"Well, let your first service to me be having dinner with me and taking a swim when Angus, Shane and Carmen arrive," Tina said.

Alice beamed and said, "oh this is the best job ever!"
