    Carmen’s P.O.V. – Shane tells one of the friends the whole story.

    Jenny:  Well, seriously, I don’t have nearly as much as you have going on, but ummm…  I’m still writing.

    Shane:  Cool!  How’s that going?

    Jenny:  Great!  Actually…   ummmm…  It’s my story, “Some of Her Parts.”  It’s actually getting published.

    Shane:  That’s great!  Congratulations!

    Jenny:  Thank you!

    Shane:  Are you still at the house?

    Jenny:  Yeah!  Actually I am.

    Shane:  Look Jenny…  I just want to say I’m sorry for leaving you like that with the rent and all.

    Jenny:  No.. no.. it’s okay!  I found someone to cover your part of the rent.

    Shane:  Really?  Who?  Do you and your roomy get along?

    Jenny:  Uh…  Actually, we get along great! 

    Shane:  Do I know her?

    Jenny:  yep!  Yah sure do!

    Shane:  Well…. Who is it?

    Jenny:  It’s ummm… it’ s Carmen!

    Shane:  Carmen?  That’s cool.  (A smile begins to form on Shane’s face.)  She looks great!  You all look great!  How has everyone been?

    Jenny:  Everyone has been the same…  Pretty much it.  Alice and Tasha are together as you know.  They’ve been together for about a year and a half.

    Shane:  They look great together and Alice is obviously glowing with happiness.

    Jenny:  Yeah.  She’s very happy.  Ummmmm, Shane?!?

    Shane:  What’s up?

    Jenny:  So you gonna tell me the story about what’s going on?

    Shane:  With what?

    Jenny shoots a look at Shane.

    Jenny:  Shane!  You leave L.A. alone…  Go to Oregon…  And come back with a family.  What gives?  Is Shay with you… like… “WITH YOU”?

    Shane:  Yeah…  I was awarded full custody of him after Carla was admitted into rehab and Gabe got locked up.  They signed their parental rights over to me.

    Jenny:  Seriously?

    Shane:  I kid you not!  So anyways, you know I was running WAX in New York. 

    Jenny:  Yeah! Oh! I saw the Hugo Boss ad.

    Shane:  (Shane puts her face in her hands embarrassed.)  Don’t bring it up!

    Jenny:  Everyone seen it!  It was hard to miss all the magazines, let alone all the billboards that were up…  You looked really good in it.  Hey Shane!?!

    Shane:  What’s up?

    Jenny:  “Are you feeling Shane today?”  (Jenny says mocking the slogan on Shane’s ad.)

    Shane:  Oh gosh!

    Jenny:  Ok! Ok!  I’m sorry.  I couldn’t help it!

    1. “bettyvhall” – Harley was in the picture and for some reason she’s not anymore…She is someone Shane knew from her teen years that she crossed paths with again in New York…She leaves the picture; We’ll find out in the next chapter or so about what happened to her. When Harley leaves the picture. Shane is reunited with another friend in New York also from her teen years, Mel! Everyone will find out Shane and Mel’s status in the next chapter or so. I wanna know everything! lol And I know Harmon can’t biologically be Shane’s if he’s 2 and Shane left LA 2 years ago so just where did he come from and how come he looks so much like Shane? Is she adopting more half brothers now?Anyway, really excited for the next part. please don’t keep us all hanging!

    9. Hey everyone… I just wanted to focus on Carmen’s POV of what was going through her head at the reunion of her and her ex-lover. I know you all may have a lot more questions. Just put them in the comments and I’ll answer back by commenting. And just to make things clear.
