Amy was awake and getting dressed with great difficulty.

“Baby its half past 7 in the morning!” Jacqui yawned

“I know but I need to be in university by 9 and I’ve been awake since 5” Amy said getting frustrated

“Why have you taken your sling off?” Jacqui asked

“Because it was the only way I was going to get dressed properly” Amy replied

Jacqui got out of bed and helped Amy.

“What you doing with your hair?” Jacqui asked

“Leaving it down” Amy said as Jacqui put the sling back on

“Have you taken your pain killers?”

“Took them?…I think I’ve overdosed on them!” Amy stated

Jacqui looked at her “Relax I’m kidding” Amy smirked

Amy kissed Jacqui “Thanks for helping me”

Jacqui smiled “Always”

“And forever” Amy smiled “Go back to bed I’ll see you when I get home”

“Phone me if you need anything” Jacqui said getting back into bed

“I will, you phone me if you need anything, I love you” Amy kissed Jacqui once more before leaving the room.

“Morning” Spencer smiled as Amy walked into the kitchen

“Thought it was Ashley that started early?” Amy asked as she took the glass of orange from Spencer

“Help yourself” Spencer smirked “No she did I start at 9”

“I’m glad you can drop me at university then, Kayleigh is bringing me home” Amy said giving Spencer her orange juice back.

She walked through the hall and into Nathan’s bedroom.

Nathan was lying on his bed on his tummy like a starfish. Amy couldn’t help but smile.

“Nate…Nathan!” Amy said gently shaking him “Get up buddy, and dressed for school”

“Ok” Nathan yawned “Can I not get 5 more minutes?”

Amy looked at her watch and smiled “Ok only 5 though”

“Bette you need to talk to me” Tina sighed

“No I don’t Tina!” Bette snapped picking up her car keys and briefcase leaving the house

“Oh my flipping god! Why is it me that has the two most difficult women in the planet in my family?” Tina snapped to herself as she went into the bedroom and continued to get ready for work.
