A month later and Bette was back at work much to Tina’s
disapproval, Tina was also back at work and Nathan’s attackers were still
undisclosed, Amy was in peak of exams at university and Jacqui was working
non-stop at the hospital.
“Amy when are you returning to practice?” Jay asked
“After exams Jay I have far too much on my mind to even
think about basketball”
“Yeah I know I just need to let Coach Galloway know were
losing our 2 best players at practice sessions”
“I don’t see what the problem is we have no games coming up
till the end of the month” Amy admitted “And it’s not as if were rubbish”
“Yes I know that” Jay smiled “How are the exams going?”
“Shit she has put everyone into a group for their practical
exam and I’ve been put into all 6 of them”
“I’m sorry you’re going to need to explain that one”
“Well in group one I’m singing, group two I’m playing bass,
group three I’m playing drums, group four which is my group I’m writing the
song and singing, group 5 I’m playing guitar and group 6 I’m playing guitar,
she’s got me running about like a complete idiot”
“Well not being funny Amz but you are the best musician and
your capable off it”
“Yeah no I’m not there is a lot of talented people on the
course, she has gave me extra rehearsal time and an extra day off though” Amy
sighed “I’m just exhausted”
“How’s them gorgeous children of yours!”
Amy smiled “They are getting cuter everyday they both make
me so proud”
Jay smiled “Awww…right babe I need to shoot but I’ll see you
soon, txt me if you need me for anything”
“Yeah thanks Jay”
“Jacqui I need you in OR3 to assist me” Ashley shouted
running in the direction of the locker room
Jacqui had literally just walked in the hospital she quickly
rushed into the locker room the get changed and raced towards the OR.
“Hey Mama” Nathan smiled waling into Bette’s classroom “Mum
told me to come check up on you but yeah don’t tell her I told you”
Bette smiled “I guessed that sweetheart”
“She loves you” Nathan stated sitting down
