Two weeks had moved on…The atmosphere in the office was terrible and everyone was feeling it. Jacqui was only speaking to Amy if it involved work. Jess was caught in the middle as usual.

“You know I’ve had enough of this” Jess snapped as she sat down beside Brian

“I know it’s getting way out of hand”

“Hey guy’s just wanted to let you know im handing in my resignation” Jacqui said walking into the office.

“Like hell you are” Jess said standing up

“Jess I cant stay around here its killing me im sorry” Jacqui admitted

“Just bloody talk to Amy then and sort this” Brian snapped

“Jacqui hear her out for everyone’s sake” Chloe said

“I cant im sorry anyway I just want you all to hear it from me” Jacqui said leaving the office

Jess was appalled as what Brian.

“This is bloody ridiculous” Brian snapped

“No kidding” Jess replied sitting down at her desk.

Jacqui walked into Amy’s office.

“Mum I’ll call you back” Amy said hanging up the phone

“Just wanted to hand you this” Jacqui said handing Amy an envelope

“What is it?”

“My resignation” Jacqui answered

“Jacqui don’t do this please…Im begging you” Amy said

“Too late…I can’t be around you…I thought I could but it’s far too hard im sorry”

Jacqui left the office taking a deep breath as she held back her tears. Amy walked over to the window watching Jacqui leave then she slouched down the wall as the tears ran down her face.

Jess walked into the office and seen Amy she left the office.

“Guy’s close the centre and you can all go home don’t ask questions just do it” Jess instructed

She took out her mobile and dialled Tina’s number. She got no answer so she tried Bette’s.

“Hey Aunty Bette it’s Jess…Listen I cant get a hold of Aunty T so im guessing she must be out on duty…I need you at the Centre…Well Amy does…No she’s upset and I tend to put my foot in it…ok see you soon”

Bette made it to the centre in record time.
