This was Dana’s worst nightmare come true. She did her best to duck out of all the photographers view. It was next to impossible to do when you were totally surrounded. The flash of all the cameras were blinding. The humiliation was just beginning…..

She was directed straight to booking. Dana’s fingerprints would be on file. Another officer now taking each of her fingers and putting them in ink, pressing them to a big index card. To make it worse, they wouldn’t even let her wash her hands. They wanted her to remember why she was here, she thought.

Next came the mug shots. Holding the card in front of her, getting several views of her. None too flattering. No dodging these pictures. Being put in a binder with all the sexual deviants. It did make her wonder how many people were falsely accused though.

At least for tonight, she didn’t have to go through with the questioning again. That would happen when her lawyer was present. Speaking of that, where was Lara. Dana thought she would have been there by now……

Lara was on her way to the police station but she had a stop to make first. She needed help. Getting out of the car, she went up the steps and knocked on the door.

Bette – Lara? What are you doing here?

Lara – I need your help. Can I come in?

Bette – Please come in….. what is this all about?

Tina was sitting on the couch holding a sleeping Angelica.

Lara – It’s Dana. She’s been arrested.

Tina – Oh God…. I was afraid this was going to happen.

Lara – What! You knew this would happen?

Tina – Bette, would you take Angelica and put her to bed?
