On Sharons way out, Dana had promised to call her in a few days so that they could spend an afternoon together. Dana couldn’t believe the complete turn around of her mother. She hadn’t felt that kind of peace with her mom since long before she came out to her.
Kristin – Your mom’s nice.
Dana – Yeah, but thats not the usual response I get about her. Most of the time, she can be very blunt and hurt people’s feelings.
Kristin – I had no idea.
Dana – She doesn’t excude her family in that either. But what can I do, she’s my mother.
Kristin – Mine can be a little overbearing. They say you turn into your mother, I hope my kids forgive me. (laughing)
Dana – God, if thats true… I’m in big trouble!
Both laughing this time.
Alice scarcely talked to Roxy the rest of the afternoon. Why couldn’t Roxy see that she was happy with Dana? Was she that sure Dana was going to disappoint her or could it be that she was simply jealous of her? Alice had a sick feeling that with Roxy, it was the other. How far would she go to make her point. Would it go as far as trying to get Dana out of the way… much like Lara tried to get rid of her? But Roxy was in law enforcement… weren’t you suppose to trust those that upheld the law? But there were people that abused their power and thats what scared Alice the most. Who would a person believe if something bad happened, an average citizen or a officer of the law? Roxy really needed to go, but how would she be able to get rid of her without jeopardizing Dana’s safety as well as her own?
Dana was wanting to go to the magazine to see Alice. She so desperately wanted to work out their differences and get back to normal… whatever normal was. Roxy was a big reason for not wanting to be there, not to mention Alice’s work was not the place to talk privately. All there friends would be at the house tonight and she didn’t want to have to tell them that it was over before it even started. Now that Alice was living in the house with her, it would seem so empty without her in it. At the same time the house wasn’t big enough with Roxy living there with them. She could deal with having Kristin there for protection…. why couldn’t it be her there instead of Roxy, the fucking homewrecker.

i love your story! i would be really disappointed if it died, don’t kill it. it’s the best suspense fanfic :) i just can’t stand roxy. your story keeps my imagination running, let me know if you need ideas. i’m not a writer but i could feed you some ideas if you get writers block. anything to keep this one going! i’d tell you what they are but i wouldn’t want to try to guess what surprises you have in store![this is my second comment ever, btw. that says a lot about how much i love your story]

Wow another great chapter I must say I do enjoy getting the first read, it makes me feel special. I like that Dana said something about Alice saying Roxy’s name in her sleep, I can’t say I’d do the same. And the hickey wow nice way to keep us from NC-17! :) The clock has me so confused but I’m sure like a good tease you’ll keep us waiting. Bringing in the PI is a good way to make the playing ground even for Dana, I don’t like that Roxy knows everything about them but they don’t know anything about Roxy.It’s also good that Alice told Tina about Roxy maybe Tina can be the peacemaker when things fall apart. I love how we go from loving Roxy to hating her, such strong emotions you expertly invoke :) Hands down best line of the chapter”Well…. you almost had a night off. Or should I say we almost had a night off, you bitch.”…classic amazing chapter Miss Aquaman I don’t ever want to hear or read the words boring from you cuz if this is your idea of boring, I’m afraid of your exciting chapters. Hé girl, glad to read this amazing update. I’m following this story week by week so please don’t kill it off!!Loved how Dana told Alice about the dream hope Alice will be forthcoming also. The story will pick up again, should I be afraid….intens chapters coming up! I thought this was pretty intense so cannot wait what’s in store..Thanks for my sunday danish fix and I will be back for every single update you have for us.
I loved the scene with Kristin. Alice and Dana need a little help dealing with Roxy. Alice may not explode now that she had told two people about Roxy. I had forgotten how perceptive Bette and Tina have proven themselves to be in this story. How would I deal with a master manipulator? I hate when people try to get into my head or to get me to do things I don’t want to do. If they aren’t subtle enough it makes me determined to do the opposite of what they want. Alice needs to turn the tables on Roxy. She can’t allow herself to be Roxy’s victim, but she has to do a better job than she did with Lara.

And brteyes, thank you for continuing!! :D I do believe you now, Kristin is really genuine, she is actually helping them out. Wohoo! I’m glad that Alice had a talk with Tina on all what’s going on. I hope Tina got trough Alice, Alice took the advice of locking the door. That’s one step in the right direction (*I know, locked doors won’t keep Roxy to stay away from Alice…and Alice to stay away from Roxy*). The lies are still building up. Alice needs to do a lot of reassuring letting Dana know she really loves her… Well, as long as Dana keeps holding Alice tight (and not only troughout the nights), they will get trough it…in the end (and with ‘in the end’, I mean the final chapter of this story :) ). First they’re gonna have to walk that wicked, twisted path of yours. :P Oh, I so wanna know what’s ‘s up with that clock!
Wow i love it! I always love reading your story, and theres always so much to read! Its fantastic! I love the twists, but i just want Roxy outta there! I know shes a main part, but she’s stopping Dana and Alice being happy!

hey hey, sorry about not commenting on ur last post. things are getting busy at school w/ finals coming up. i’ve noticed that the last couple of postings are heavy w/ the drama and suspense. no wonder u hit a rough patch, but i’m so very glad that u are continuing. man, if THIS is a cake-walk, i’m afraid of what the next post will be like. it’s great that you brought back the gang. loved the convo b/n tina and alice. there should be more get-togethers, so bette/tina can keep an eye on roxy. looking forward to next chapter. btw, can’t wait for the climax when all hell breaks loose again. ^ – ^ (fyi – u’ll never lose me as a reader).

I think you’re awesome and taleted and I’ve been a devote reader, may not have always commented, but have always read. can’t wait for the next chapter! i am dying to find out what the PI has unearthed for Dana. and i am curious to see if it was Roxy who brought the clock back into the house. i am waiting for Lara’s grand and creepy return… perhaps this will be it. it would be a nice touch if was she who brought the clock back in. i will keep tuning in to find out. oooh and i am so glad alice finally told someone about all the crap that is happening. now if she’d only tell dana.keep up the amazing work!

Great update as always. Ok so I’m going crazy with anticipation of the whole sex-with-Roxy incident talk that Alice is going to have with Dana. Please knock that one out so we can move on to better things…like a happy Alice and Dana WITHOUT Roxy!:) I am interested to find out what dirt Dana digs up on Roxy though. And Dana should be getting the Doctors clean bill of health pretty soon right? Can’t wait for that…please post soon!!!
