Roxy had missed out on the Dana and Alice reunion. Had she of known, there would’ve been a stop to it. If Roxy couldn’t be with Alice right now, she’d deal with it and put her mind to other matters just as important. It was hard to know where to start. The list was getting bigger, all the things that needed to be done. The top two on her list was to deal with the Gambinos, which was going to change a lot of lives and possibly alter her own. The second, but not lacking the importance of the first…. to make Alice her’s. From what had happened between them already, how could Alice deny the obvious chemistry? She didn’t expect her to fall instantly in love with her, but with time and a whole lot of convincing, most assuredly she’d feel something other then the physical attraction that they both shared. Dana was going to be her biggest obstacle as well as Alice’s. Dana was devastated by the news about Alice and her. And the fact that it came from her instead of Alice made the rift even bigger between the two. Roxy wanted to be happy about that but it meant that Alice was more angry with her for throwing the dirty laundry in Dana’s face. Dana’s outpouring of rage could still be felt, her ribs were bruised and very sore…. luckily though none were broken. Her ego was suffering the most, but that was because she was use to getting what she wanted. She reminded herself that this was just a temporary setback and she needed to be patient. As angy as Dana was at Alice… it didn’t mean that she’d never forgive her. More probable then not, she’d want her back… which only meant she’d have to work a whole lot of magic and do it quickly.
Roxy didn’t realize what a problem Kristen was going to be for her since she brought her in to help. For a job that was suppose to be so simple, it turned out more complicated then she anticipated. Kristen’s job was to protect them while she wasn’t there…. not become friends with them. What was worse….. now that the job was over, she was still hanging around. She was aware of the bond that was being formed when Kristen was in the house, but her personal involvement was fucking up her own plans. Kristen was apparently one of those people that had to butt into other’s lives to feel better…. to be everyone’s friend. Being everyone’s friend did have it’s drawbacks. The fact that Alice sent her to try to convince Dana to come home backfired horribly. Sometimes it was better to pick a side and stay with it or risk losing all. Kristen could very well screw herself over by trying to get them back together. Dana was already pissed at her for showing up and expressing her point of view. Roxy couldn’t even think of letting this go, even though Kristen’s words were showing no effect on the outcome of their breakup… she still had to pay for interfering with her own plans. With a little research of her own, Roxy knew what she wanted to do. If Kristen liked being personally involved, then it was going to be with her own life. After she started the plan into motion, there was no way Kristen could think of anything or anyone else for that matter.

Interesting update…the end threw me off. Who is Special Agent Brooks? I’m sure we haven’t met him/her yet??? I feel the Danish connection brewing…:)!!!! YEAH!!!!! Can’t wait till that happends. In the mean time I’ll be curious to see what you plan on doing with Roxy’s character. Please post soon!
First of congratulations on 50 chapters, I think you’re amazing! This chapter was really good. I was glad that Dana didn’t go missing but talked to Kirsten firts (who I still adore btw) Roxy can still piss me off even if she didn’t do anything. So glad you found some time to update this story and keep it going. It’s better to know you lack time and not inspiration! Anyway I will check to see when you have updated and what you will do to (or with) our girls. Still hoping for a bit of happiness. Thanks!

First of all, congrats with your 50th chapter!! :D You made us wait two weeks AND one day (the last addition is a really important one ;) )!! The clue you gave me didn’t do much for me. I’m just as clueless as I was before…ok, maybe, just maybe I’m a babystep further to finding out the truth. Where is Dana going, is she going to the cabin? Will somebody be following her? I really can’t see Dana and Alice talking about all that happened like adults in the near future. Will Alice be having professional help soon? I think she is the one who will need to convince Dana of their love for each other. She then first needs to be a lot stronger herself (and Alice is one strong lady…something some people seem to forget (including me)). Kristen is going to have a hard time. Right now she is trying to help all of them…but they all have different interests and I think the (unspoken) ‘requests’ they ask of her are going to be contradictory. But Kristen seems to be a well-balanced person and she will make the right choices. And you leave us hanging like that at the end…who is special agent Brooks?!?!
Whoa 50th chap thats awesome! congrats!I just want to cry! lol i guess its cuz it pains me to see Alice and Dana at such a dark place! ok ok whos this brooks personnn? ive been trying to break down Roxy in the sense of accepting her character and seeing that her maddness is needed and makes sense.. but I CANT lol i will forever have roxy in the list of people who should disapear! but i know or i hope Roxy will get whats coming to her :P I really hope Alice and Dana can stop being crazy and try to work this out even tho it seems like they are both far away from it. You truly are an AMAZING writer Brteyes! Plz update asap! thanx for your awesomenesss! u rock!
Hey firstly congrats on making it to chapter fifty – what a great effort! Secondly whilst I love the drama & all that jazz, can you please assure me that danish will eventually prevail? Please?
brteyes, love, you know I have millions of questions but I’m sure I’d be wasting my breath asking them. You stay true to writing form, leave the suspense to the story no spoilers. I cave like a deck of cards when I get asked lol. There are so many things I want to know and I want to spend the rest of my life finding out…the story I mean. I loved this chapter and I always look forward to reading anything from you. I have to say you threw me for a loop with the Agent Brooks curve you threw at the end. Yet another question where I am at your sweet sweet juicy mercy. I’m with bojangles about Danish I want to know that they’ll be ok but for now I’m really really interested in what Roxy’s doing. Kristen is poking her nose in awfully far and even though she is friends with the both of them I think I agree with Roxy, she needs to choose a side. I get that Kristen empathizes with Alice but Dana’s not going to be able to accept someone who’s on the fence so to speak. I love everything you write brteyes and this is one of the best nights of my life, probably until the next chapter you post at least lol. Keep up the great writing I’ll be anxiously waiting for more.

Yeah … I’m definately not a new reader … I’ve been keeping tabs on this fic for months. Glad I could give your ego a boost. As for my continued readership … if you keep posting interesting chapters (like this one) & throw in some mindblowingly hot angry sex … I’ll definately keep reading.
