“Are you still in love with them?” Helena questioned
Silence
“Yes, but the level of love changes. I’m now in the stage where I already accepted that I can’t have a future with either one of them”
“Why?”
“We have our own different lives now”
“Well that’s sad but what if there will be another cosmic joke that will fall upon you and will give you another chance to be with one of them once again and this time that person is the one that heaven has truly designed to be with you, would you accept it?” Helena asked
The caramel skinned beauty took another deep breath and said, “Yes I would…”
Bette took a deep breath. The connection that she had with Tina was something out of the ordinary but she thought that it was just a thing of the past. Whatever happened between them, no matter how incredible it was, would only serve as a memory, a memory that should be left behind. Tina’s happy now with Sam and she totally respected that but she thought it would be nice to be friends with the blonde, she hoped… she really hoped.

Tina was in front of the mirror doing her finishing touch when she felt a pair of arms wrapped around her waist
“Baby you looked so beautiful! The dress looks so perfect on you!” Sam said as she placed her chin on top of Tina’s shoulder while looking at the blonde’s reflection in the mirror
Tina smiled “Baby I love this green dress that you gave me, thank you!”
Sam nuzzled her nose into the blonde’s golden locks “Baby you looked so fucking hot I want to take you right here, right now… hmmm…”
Tina closed her eyes as she felt Sam’s kisses on her neck and the side of her face
Tina moaned “Babe you know it’s not possible, I have to go down now because mom can’t be all alone greeting her guests”
“But baby we haven’t made love for like two weeks! Imagine two weeks! When I was in San Francisco you were all that I was thinking about… can we just do a quickie?” Sam said with her puppy eyes
Tina turned around and kissed the resident doctor on the lips “Baby I promised I’m going to make tonight really special for you” the blonde said then winked

totally agree with skycaptain. this chapter was way too short. i like how tina is sticking (or at least trying) to her commitment even though i am a tibetter. It’s hard to forget the earlier part of the story when Bette chose Sarah over Tina
