Tina was walking out of Peggy’s office when she noticed Bette walking into the gym. She sighed descending down the stairs. Bette noticed her moving down the steps.
She could tell something was wrong with Tina “You okay?”
Tina did not make eye contact. “Yeah, I’m fine.” She brushed past Bette to the locker room.
Bette stood there baffled by Tina’s action and also concerned.
As she stood there, Peggy walked up behind her. “What are you doing to that poor girl?”
Bette was startled by Peggy’s voice behind her. She turned noticing two steel blue eyes burning into hers. Bette tore her eyes away. “She told you?”
Peggy folded her arms. “Yeah, she told me. Bette, she is hurt. You of all people know better than to have let it get that far. You have been through this before.”
Bette sighed her heart breaking. “I don’t know. There is something about her. I can’t control my feelings or actions when I’m around her.”
Peggy shook her head and started to walk away. She turned to look back at Bette. “Keep it professional.” With that she was gone.
Bette felt as if she was a child being scolded by their mother. Her head hung a bit as she walked into the locker room. She spotted Tina sitting on the bench in a daze, staring straight ahead.
Bette cleared her throat. “Hey are you ready?”
Tina still kept her eyes fixed ahead of her. “Yeah, I am.”
Bette sighed rolling her eyes to hold back the tears. “Please talk to me. Don’t give me short responses.”
Tina tore her eyes away from where they were and glared at Bette, which caused Bette to gasp. “What am I supposed to say? I’m embarrassed. I acted a complete fool.”
Bette shook her head taking huge strides to lessen the distance between them. She sat close to Tina, resting her hand on Tina’s knee. “You are not a fool. I never said I didn’t like it. But right now this fight is important. It’s your first fight so we need to remain focused. We can talk about it after. I promise.”
Tina stood up grabbing her duffel bag. “Ok. We do need to talk after because I have something to tell you and it needs to be tonight.”
Bette felt her stomach churning, her thoughts immediately thinking the talk was not going to be the way she would like.

Please not too much drama.Thank you for the update.Great story.
i love drama, lol
Thanks for the update, but I hope that Bette plants a kiss on Tina so good that she changes her mind about firing Bette as her trainer, because I think them being trainer and boxer will be and interesting dynamic, especailly if noone knows, and Tina starts to win fights and become somewhat popular, enough said.
