    Author Notes:

    bette returns to the hotel after a major ass chewing.

    Bette decided to walk the stairs instead of taking the elevator to their 7th floor room.  She figured the extra time would give her some time to think. She reached the 7th floor and walked into the hallway, searching for their room. She saw the door open slightly from where she stood and broke out into a sprint.

    "Tina!" she called as she reached the open door.

    "Bette?" Tina said through her cries, still motionless on Shane’s lap.

    "Tina?" Bette called again entering the room.

    Tina sat up and Bette saw Shane and Tina sitting on the floor.

    "You ok Tina?" Shane asked anxiously.

    "Yea, I’m ok," she responded quietly.

    Shane stood up and patted Bette’s arm before leaving the room and shutting the door.

    "Tina," Bette called to her girlfriend, but Tina wouldn’t look up. Bette exhaled and dropped her purse and keys onto a chair and knelt in front of the crying blonde. "I’m sorry I got so mad."

    Tina looked up at Bette perplexed. "You have no reason to be sorry," she said as she let her gaze fall back down to the floor.

    "But I do," Bette began. "I love you Tina. You’ve put up with so much from me in the past. You’ve forgiven me for so much. I owe you the same." Bette placed her fingers under Tina’s chin.

    "It still hurts and I have a lot of questions, but I forgive you for not telling me and for lying to me," Bette said sincerely.

    "I’m sorry, baby, I just…I know it would hurt you…and I love you…I am…so…sor" Tina’s words were stopped by the warmth of Bette’s lips against hers.

    "Shhhh," Bette urged as she resumed her position and kissed Tina’s lips slowly but passionately. Bette took her hands and placed them under Tina and slowly stood up holding the blonde. She walked over to the bed and gently laid Tina on the bed, quickly following, her lips resuming their duty.

    She put Tina’s hands above her head and slowly let her own finger tips explore Tina’s cream colored arms. She loved the feeling of Tina’s skin. Bette entwined their fingers together briefly before slowly journeying down Tina’s arms, touching each inch of her skin, rememorizing every bump, every faded scar, every raised freckle.

    1. I don’t know but didn’t this go a little to fast. I don’t mean the love making but Bette forgiving so easely? That’s new to me… I still loved the chapter PPS

    7. Fantastic chapter. Really glad Kit’s words to Bette reached that brain of hers as well as her heart. The love-making reminded me of a song by the Pointer Sister’s about 30 odd years ago, “Slow Hand,” some the words were, “I want a lover with a slow hand. I want a lover with an easy touch, I found somebody who will spend some time, Not come and go in a heated rush. I found somebody who will understand when it comes to love, I want a slow hand. It’s a great song and just fits this situation. Now maybe Bette will stop flying off the handle and learn to listen to Tina. Love this story. Thanks for posting.

    8. I enjoyed the chapter but I must shay that this was Bette doing some quick forgiving of Tina,I guess with age comes maturity. I see you posted a new chapter, lets r
