"They told me what you did," Tina said softly.

"You mean fraud in almost every company I’ve ever worked for?" Helena said.

"I mean not incriminating me," Tina said, "you couldn’t saved yourself 2 years."

"You’re my friend Tina," Helena said.

"Even though I shunned you completely?"

"I deserved it," Helena said, "I ruined every aspect of your life. I couldn’t have a relationship so you couldn’t either. That’s why I took you with me on dates as my wingman and brought you women everytime you started to get serious with Jenny and ruin Bette Porter’s life."

"Some friends lift you up and others drag you down, that doesn’t mean they’re not your friends anymore," Tina said.

"You really mean that?" Helena said.

"Yes, and I’m hoping maybe we can be friends again," Tina said.

"One day," Helena said, "we’ll try to hang out again in 7 years."

"What made you decide to protect me after the way I treated you after my rehab?" Tina asked.

Helena stood up now and walked to the bars and said, "I fell in love."

Tina looked surprised, "you? In love?"

Helena smiled. "Yes. I denied it to myself for so long, then I lost her. She hated me because I was shallow and arrogant. That’s when I realized how wrong I was. About everything! My whole life philosophy, my lifestyle, my choices, and especially my plan against Bette Porter."

"Reality bit you in the ass huh?" Tina said, "yeah it does that."

"I just realized I never really apologized for everything I did," Helena said, "to you and to Bette."

"Maybe you should tell Bette yourself," Tina said stepping aside as the tall brunette entered the room.

They had come together to the police station. Bette to talk Tasha into ceasing investigations against Tina and Tina to visit Helena. Bette wasn’t planning on visiting Helena at all but the blonde had convinced her. She was standing behind the wall the whole time listening to the conversation.

"I got Tasha to close the case," Bette said, "she said she did it for me."

"In all actuality Bette, I should be punished for my crime," Tina said.
