Chapter 18 

      After the work in the afternoon it was actually time the people to start coming in. So I start setting up the equipment. The half-pipe is completely ready right now. Shane repainted the half-pipe red. Claire was helping them with the painting. I have to say Jordan has choice. 

    WAX is very interesting. It’s mainly a skateboard place, where you can get your personalized board, I saw Shane’s board, its basically black with Shane written on the board. There are some stalls for hair. There’s a hair dresser and Shane works there as a helper and the shampoo girl. She also does the trimming and the little stuff.  

        I invited Alice, Dana and Jenny. I always invite them in all my gigs. They enjoy themselves and I enjoy myself with them. They are my best friends. I are gonna come a little later.  

 I see Jordan and Shane walking arm in arm. They both changed into better clothes. They are both looking amazing. They’re wearing some white button down shirt and black jeans, black blazer and skinny black tie. Shane comes up to my stage with a drink for me and I take a closer look at her. I take the drink. I fix her tie a little bit. Shane’s hair is all gelled up and it looks really good. I can’t stop staring at her. She just looks really kissable right now. 

  I control myself. But she kisses me on the cheek. Causing the crowd to cheer and me to blush. I really didn’t think she would do something like this on public. That was really sweet of her. Thank god its an adult party and Clive and his friends cannot be here at any cost and no one from our school can be here except for us of course. I go back to work. And Shane goes off after keeping me company for a while. 

       I put on a slow song and take a break to meet up with Alice and Jenny, Dana couldn’t come because she had to go to a family dinner. 

 Alice:"I see our DJ Suga and Ms. Super Skateboarder has a somethin’ goin’ on!" 

 Carmen:"Oh no…its nothing like that! We’re just friends"
