“Hey.” I can get out.
“Hey, Bette, come and join us.” Tasha invites her friend.
“Oh, sure.” She says and sits down. Immediately, a waitress comes over and takes our orders before disappearing again.
“So, did you enjoy your date last night as much as Tina did?” Alice wants to know and I shoot daggers at her and my head turns red. Before Tasha or I can respond, Bette speaks up.
“I loved our date yesterday. It was perfect.” She tells us and then smiles at me, I can’t help but smile back. She gives me a wink before turning back to our friends, leaving me with red cheeks once again.
“Oh my gosh, Tina is blushing!” Alice laughed.
“Don’t be so childish, Al.” Bette commented and Tasha nodded.
“So, are you guys going out again?” Alice ignores the scolding.
“Yes, but can you please stop talking about us and move on with the conversation.” Bette says.
‘Us’. I like the sound of that.
“Auntie Tee, Mommy taught me to write my name and yours. Do you want to see it?” Nell asks me and I look at her with a smile on my face.
“Off course I want to see it.” I answer. She turns the paper where she is drawing on and slowly she writes her name and mine.
Nell Tina
It’s so cute. “Wow, doll, I’m very proud of you. That’s really good.” I tell her. Tasha lays her arm around Nell’s shoulder.
“Yeah, my daughter is a real genius.” Tasha says and gives the little girl a peck on top of her head.
“Yeah, I’m smart.” Nell says and then giggles.
“Yes, you are.” Bette chuckles.
“Hey, we are going to go. Nell has to go to the birthday party of Libby so we have to get her ready and be there at 1PM.” Alice explains. They stand up and say bye to us, which leaves Bette and I at the table.
“So, were you able to sleep?” I ask her and she chuckles.
“Honestly? No, you kept spinning through my head.” She tells me and rests her head on her hand while her elbow rests on the table. She looks at me very flirty and I try not to blush which works for the first time. I mimic her movements and rest my head also on my hand.

The guys are just mad because they are not the one doing the kissing with either woman and doesn’t Nell reminds you of a certain little girl we all know and love….starts with a A lol
