Bette slammed her phone down and resisted the urge to throw it against the wall. She had been on the phone all day trying to get her show set up and she was two weeks away from the premiere date and she still had two slots to fill. Bette flipped through the files on her desk angrily when her phone rang again.

WHAT?

Bette?

Oh hi baby. Im sorry, whats up?

Tina frowned at the tone in Bettes voice, which sounded more frustrated than apologetic. Tina knew Bette had been under a lot of stress lately and she didnt like it when Bette was like this. Everyone knew Bette had a temper but Tina saw it flare more than anyone else did. She had just called to see if Bette wanted her to cook dinner tonight but she decided to try another tactic.

Nothing, hows your day going?

*****. One of my artists backed out for the show thats supposed to open in two weeks and another artist is threatening to do the same. I swear to god if I have to deal with one more arrogant, self righteous prick Im going to

Tina listened to Bette finish her sentence with a big sigh and she knew Bette was hanging on by a thread. Tina knew that when Bette was like this the best thing was to let her rant and rave before trying to calm her down. Challenging her when shes in one of her moods is like trying to stop a charging bull with sweet talk. It just wont work. Tina knew that Bette would be like this for hours so she decided to make it quick.

Baby dont worry everything will be okay. Youll find someone greatyou always do.

I wish it were that simple Tina, but every major artist has already been booked and this show is such short notice that Ill be lucky to find anyone willing to display their work now.

Tina rolled her eyes as she listened to Bette complain about her work. How can she be in a job where she loves it so much but at the same time it drives her crazy? Tina knew the answer of course, Bette wouldnt want any other type of job. Tina knew that Bette was the type of person who needed to constantly prove herself and so obviously she would put herself in a very competitive line of work. Her passion and love for art is only compromised when she lets the stressfulness situation of putting on one marvelous show after another get to her.

Okay well Ill let you get back to work, but baby Im cooking tonight so why dont you come over after work?

Tina I dont knowI have so much to do I dont even know when Im getting out of here.

Tina hung up and sighed as she looked at the phone. Bette can be so difficult sometimes, she thought as she tried to turn her attention back to her work. And I swear to god shes going to have a heart attack before shes forty if she keeps it up. Tina knew that Bette always let her temper get the better of her and she hoped that tonight Bette would be in a better mood.

A little after nine thirty Bette opened Tinas door with the key Tina had given her. Tina was sitting at the kitchen table reading a magazine when Bette walked in. Dinner was prepared but Tina decided to wait for Bette, even though she figured Bette would be home late. Tina smiled at Bette trying to see what kind of mood she was in, but Bette just gave her a half-hearted smile in return. Tina walked over and sat down on the couch next to Bette. Bette was leaning with her head against the back of the couch and her eyes were half closed.

I ***** hate my job.

Tina smiled to herself as she reached for Bettes legs. She pulled them into her lap and after taking off Bettes shoes she began rubbing her feet. Tina listened to Bette go on and on about how much her work was killing her all the while just listening with a smile on her face.

I hate Alexander Donovan. I ***** hate that man. He is making my life miserable.

One of the artists thats flying in from New York to do the show. He is such a prick I swear. Hes making all these requests at the last minute and if he backs out on me I am going to kill him.

Tina smiled as Bette put one arm over her face. Tina could see that Bette was slowly beginning to relax and she hoped that Bette would snap out of her mood. Bette had been extremely moody lately due to the unnecessary pressure of this new show and she had been taking most of it out on Tina. Just then Bettes cell phone rang and she quickly jumped up to see who it was. She picked it up and from what Tina could hear it was not a good conversation.

Helloyeah, no we already placed the order for thewhat? WHAT? No tell him he cannot do that. The pieces are arriving on Monday and Ilook I dont care what he says hes full of ***** and he can go to ***** for all I care. Yes Im being serious. If his head wasnt so far up his ***** then maybe hed seeNO there is no ***** way we can do that in two weeks. NOyesokayfinecall me when its done.

Bette let out a huge sigh and Tina felt another temper tantrum coming on. Bette had been pacing back and forth as she was talking and she finally stopped long enough to sit back down. Bette just looked at Tina and sighed again. Tina moved over to Bette and gently cupped Bettes face in her hands.

Baby whatever it is it will be okay. You can get through this youll see. Dont worry okay?

Dammit Tina, things will not be okay. Im two weeks away from the biggest embarrassment of my life and if I dont get some kind of miracle then Im majorly screwed.

Bette calm down. Look you cant do anything about it tonight so why dont you just relax okay baby? I hate when you get like this.

I have to call Terry. Maybe he can get Alex to bend on some of the requests.

Bette flipped open her phone and dialed while Tina looked at her impatiently. Bette ignored the looks she was getting from Tina as she tried to sweet talk whoever she was on the phone with into helping her out. Tina walked back into the kitchen to heat up the dinner she made and a few minutes Bette joined her.

Im sorry TinaI know Ive been a ***** all day.

I know youre stressed out baby, but you shouldnt do this to yourself. You get all worked up and that cant be good for you.

Bette looked at Tina with a sad expression as she sat down at the table. Tina brought the food to the table and they shared a quiet dinner. Tina knew Bette had a million things on her mind but she wanted Bette to relax tonight. She didnt like to see Bette upset and more importantly Tina didnt like being on the receiving end of Bettes ***** attitude. Sometimes Bette could be a real pain in the ***** and Tina had to fight to control her own temper when Bette got like that. Tina swore that tonight she would snap Bette out of her mood no matter what it took.

After dinner Tina decided to take a bath and she asked Bette if she wanted to join her. Bette reluctantly agreed and soon both women were seated in the tub with Bette leaning her back into Tinas chest. Tina started massaging Bettes neck and shoulders and Bette let out a loud moan when Tina found one of the many knots in Bettes neck. Bettes head was slumped forward and her eyes were closed out of exhaustion and Tina had the feeling Bette might fall asleep. Tina smiled to herself as she felt Bette relax a little into her touch. Tina lightly kissed the back of Bettes neck while she continued to massage her shoulders.

Tina laughed at Bettes incoherent response and started massaging a little harder. Bette moaned again as Tinas fingers loosened her muscles and Bette felt herself sinking deeper and deeper into Tinas embrace. Tina smiled and kissed Bettes neck again before making her way to Bettes earlobe. She sucked gently on it and this time Bettes moan was out of arousal. Tina felt Bette slide her hands up and down Tinas legs and Tina felt little goose bumps where Bettes hands had been. Tina moved her hands lower on Bettes back and Bette leaned forward to give Tina access to more of her back. Tina continued to massage Bette while she started licking and sucking on Bettes shoulders and upper back. Bette shuddered at the sensation and Tina knew Bette had finally relaxed. Tina moved her massaging back up to Bettes shoulders and pulled her in so that she was once again resting against her chest. Tina kept massaging Bettes neck with one hand while the other one reached around and lightly cupped Bettes breast. Bette leaned her head back against Tina and Tina saw the flush in Bettes cheeks. Tina let her hand travel a little lower while she continued massaging Bette and sucked on her earlobe again.

Bette moaned loudly again as Tina gently brushed her fingers against Bettes *****. Bettes breathing was becoming a little faster and Tina knew that Bette was very aroused. Tina continued to let her fingers lightly brush up against Bette while she went from sucking on Bettes ear to licking her way down Bettes neck. Tina started to pull her hand away but laughed softly when Bette reached out and gently kept her hand from moving. Tina took the hint and started rubbing Bette with more urgency.

Tina stopped massaging Bettes neck and slid that had around and gently pinched Bettes nipples. Tina heard Bette inhale sharply at the new sensation and she kept rubbing Bettes ***** harder and harder. She suddenly stopped rubbing Bette and quickly slid two fingers inside of her. Bette moaned loudly again and her hips jerked at the touch. Tina continued to gently stroke Bette while curling her fingers so that she could reach her most sensitive area.
