    …..New Story…no title…….chapter 11

If I listen to what you’re saying about Tina, treasure her. I think she’s the person who will stand by your side, no matter what happens. I will talk to her, get to know her better. But from what you told me about her, I already love her.”

After those words, Kit embraced her sister and kissed her on her forehead.

“I love you, baby girl. I told you that once and I’ll tell you again and again. When I layed my eyes on you when you were born, I promised myself that I would always be there for you, look out for you and guard you with my life.”

    “I love you too, Kit.”

The sisters stood there holding each other and enjoying each others presence. That’s how Sonny found them.

Before he could say anything, Kit turned around and looked at him.

“Baby, meet my baby sister, my love. I know you already met her but now I want to do the proper introduction. Bette meet my husband and father of my son, your nephew, Sonny Benson.”

Bette walked up to her brother-in-law and hugged him. Sonny hugged her back.

“Welcome my little sister,” Sonny said and kissed her head.

Kit watched those two with love in her eyes.

Bette turned around and looked at her sister.

“Wait Kit, did you say I have a nephew? Wow, I’m introduced to a lot of new family members. But before you will tell me stories about my nephew and show me pictures of him, how’s dad?”

There, Bette asked the question that was in the back of her mind all the time. She understood that Kit wanted to know how she fared. But the news Sonny gave her was that her father was dying, never left her.

“Baby girl, you won’t believe it. Since I’m here, he’s vivid. Staff members are amazed. He needs a surgery though and we have to talk to him to make him have it. The longer he waits, the less chance he’ll have to recover.”

“But if so, why didn’t you talk to him about that?” Bette asked.

Kit looked at Bette when she answered her, telling her that Bette had just as much rights in this decision as she had. Not because she was the eldest did that mean she had all the saying.

    1. Girl, you are on a roll! Several updates, yeah!

I like that you wrote about what happend in the past, explained Melvin’s behaviour to his wifes and daughters. But i think he has a lot to make up and that he welcomes Tina in the family like he did with Sonny.

      Enjoyed this chapter, thank you!

    2. Sometimes our head hampers everything. Other times it’s the heart that does not help. And others are due to the fact that precipitation is inherent in humans. Melvin was wrong with her daughters. Wrong with himself. And he’s apologizing for being so cruel. I think Bette and Kit would be the last people who wanted to hurt, but it’s always like that. We ended up hurting those we love most .And is now asking forgiveness of their daughters.
The human being lives full of imperfections, full of flaws in their system, full of black skills, but the human being is also synonymous with learning and improvement.
      Entire universe.
