    Date Night (Part 1)

    Previously

    Tina and I made our way home for one of the last times. We entered the house and Tina went off to shower and change, while I took a moment to reflect on the day.

    Why would I ever put Tina and I’s relationship in jeopardy. She is the best thing in my life and I know I need to continue to grow and make myself a better partner to her. Hopefully she will be patient with me!

    Next- Date night!!

    Chapter 7

    Tina came out dressed in a short black dress. I was surprised that she had that with her still.

    “Wow- you look amazing? I didn’t expect you to have a dress with you.”

    “Well you should always have a little black dress on hand. You never know when you’ll be asked out.” She smiled that beautiful Tina smiled and walked over to me.

    I was dressed much more casual with black slacks and a pink button down.

    “Sorry I didn’t have a dress to wear for you.”

    “You look beautiful- trust me!” Tina purred as she leaned in to give me a kiss.

    We really had come a long way in a few short hours. I thought that Tina wasn’t going to nyc or she would go and leave me behind and now here we were- ready to go out and spend one last night in La together and in love.

    “So do I get to know where we are going yet?”

    “Nope. I just called a cab, you all ready?”

    “You are such a romantic.”

    “You have no idea- in 10 years you have turned me into a total softy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

    “Yea you were pretty tough in the beginning, but a few months with me and I could see your walls crumbling.”

    “That’s exactly how it happened. No one affected me the way you did. I all the sudden wanted to know everything about you and tell you everything about me. That had never happened! I know I can’t technically call you my first, but in a way you were! My first great love. First, last and forever right?”

    “Exactly!”

    We heard the horn beep and headed out to the cab. I made Tina wait outside the cab while I gave the driver instructions. I wanted to keep our date a surprise for as long as I could.

    3. Hi LGLB, That was so sweet and loving. It is wonderful to share these intimate moments as Bette and Tina reaffirm their love and committment to one another. Bette was stupid in not telling Tina the truth straight away but theor love has survived. Going back to where it all began and discussing their initial thoughts and feelings was useful insight. I love that they are reveling in the past while living in the present and planning a future together including marriage in NYC. More please of this delightful drama. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
