Chapter 16
“You okay ?”
Tina and Bette were standing beside the lake in Central Park. Angie was just out of earshot beside the lakeside feeding the ducks with a loaf of bread that Tina had bought for her.
Bette had been fine during breakfast but in the past hour she had fallen almost silent. Tina had let it go
as long as she could but now the silence was driving her crazy.
“Sorry ?”
“You have hardly spoke – are you okay ?”
Bette beamed – her biggest and most loving smile
“I am beyond fantastic “
Tina sighed – thank God for that
“You haven’t said much for a while “
“Sorry Tina – still coming to terms with having a sex life again that doesn’t involve batteries”
“Really ?”
“Yeah – -might have to show you them – in a few months “
Tina chuckled and took Bette’s hand
“I would be worried if I wasn’t as good as toy “
“You rock “ Bette said smiling “ But then again – you know that and I know that you know that “
“I have skills “ Tina admitted
“You always did have. You just didn’t know that “
“I had the best possible teacher – you “
Bette smiled and lent across and kissed Tina
“Thank you again “
“I got so much satisfaction from pleasing you “
“I think pleasing is somewhat of an understatement “ Bette said dryly “Angie – take a step back please “
Tina looked to see that Bette was spot on – Angie was a little too close to the water
“Angie – now “
Angie tutted but took a couple of steps backward and looked at her mother and Bette
“I was just making sure that one there got some bread “
Bette let go of Tina’s hand and went to where Angie was “Here – give me a slice – right -which one is not getting his share “
“That one “ Angie pointed.
Bette tore a piece of bread off the slice and neatly threw it so it landed right beside the duck who quickly ate it.

Great job AllyE. Bette can finally put a mark in her Complete column. They have come(no pun intended)full circle and can begin to make amends and put their relationship on solid and equal footing. Once they are more solid, hopefully Bette will let Tina tell Angie that Bette is really her other mother. I think Angie will just be overjoyed that she is and that they are now with her permanently. Great chapter. Thanks for posting.
Hope you continue the NC-17 thru the next chapter so that we know has got her groove back. lol BTW, you did a great job with it. Not too much detail, just enough to let our very active imaginations run away with us and thank God no vulgarity. This was about reconnecting, making LOVE tenderly with the woman she loves, wants and needs back in her life. Thanks again AllyE.
