Chapter Forty-Six

“Holy shit, Tina these photos!” Helena says looking over my shoulder in a shocked expression.

“What the hell..” Those are the only words that escape my mouth as I look then photo’s up and down.

“Yeah, pretty intimate.” Alice says aloud.

“Bette’s going to kill her.” Helena says.

“I can’t believe she would do such a thing again, the same photoshopping scheme.” I say.

“Yeah, I haven’t seen Bette’s body in years but i’m pretty sure that ain’t fooling anyone.”

My dart across at Alice.

“Alice!” Helena says.

“I’m just saying.”

I roll my eyes at Alice and push it from my mind and look back at the photos.

“I should text her.” I say pulling out my phone from my pocket. “Send me the link Alice, I’ll forward it to her.”

Bette’s POV

“One second Peggy, let me grab this text from Tina.” I say laying down the glass of champagne in the cup holder of the limo.

I read Tina’s text and realize she’s talking about Kelly, I can only imagine what she’s been up to now but I wasn’t expecting what I seen when I opened the link.

“What the fuck.” I say aloud.

“Bette, what so ever is it?” Peggy asks with concern.

I look at the photos of the fake half reviled naked body pressed against hers under some sheets.

“I guess she found out about daddy’s sealed deal.” Peggy says.

I look up at Peggy then hand my phone over to her in disbelief.

“Well, clearly she doesn’t care much about her own publicity.”

“She’s trying to destroy my whole reputation for the art gallery. She’s trying to get viewers to dislike me.”

“West Hollywood is certainly going to love this, ex art gallery owner nudes and with another woman, men reporters will eat this up very quickly.” Peggy says.

“Not to mention some people are still homophobic snobs, do to my recent past a few years ago when working with CAC and that god forsaken woman, Fae Buckley.”

“We are not going to let it turn into that. Don’t you worry about those photos, Kelly’s just trying to ruin something that she can’t.”
