“Well it must be pretty convincing if Tina is here bawling her eyes out, Bette!”

“It’s the truth Alice, I would never ever betray Tina like the way I did in the past, we just got our life back together! You think I would give that up for a moment of sexual pleasure?!”

Tina’s P.O.V

I stand in front of the door still contemplating about stepping out when my mind repeats the words “Mistaken sexual act.”

What I seen was no fake or mistaken sexual act, it clearly looked like Bette’s face between Kelly’s legs in our kitchen and on our table where we eat. My body feels with rage and that’s when I quickly step to the door and swing it open.

Bette’s P.O.V

My body freezes when I see Tina, the look on her face explained every bit of pain she was feeling and the anger that took over inside her hazel eyes.

My mouth opens but no words happen to come out. I have no idea why this is happening to me right now, I have to explain to her, I have to get her to believe me. She has to know the truth.

“Tina..” Bette spoke as her voice cracked.

“A mistaken sexual act, Bette? Really?”

“Tina, what you saw is nothing what you think it is.”

“It looked pretty damn clear to me what was going on!”

“T, you have to let me explain and you have to believe me.”

“So when did this “mistaken sexual act” occur?” Tina had used her fingers as quotations.

“Nothing happened Tina.”

“Answer me Bette!”

Bette could hear the anger and pain in Tina’s voice.

“Kelly had come over to the house uninvited after the gallery opening, she was drunk and she made a pass at me. But nothing happened because when she tried to kiss me, I pushed her away and that’s when she knocked a glass to the floor, what it looks like on the video is me with my head between her legs but what is really happening Tina..is me just picking up the broken glass as she sits her drunken ass on the table.”

Tina had stood there staring into Bette’s eyes still with the same rage and pain.

“How do I believe you Bette?” Tina spoke but her voice had started to tremble.

Tina could feel her tears falling but before she broke down in front of Bette, she angrily stepped passed the three standing in front of the door way and made her way out. “I have to get out of here.” Tina said out loud.

“Wait, Tina!” Bette cried out following behind her.

Tina stopped in her tracks. “No, Bette. No. I need sometime alone.”
