    “I missed diving already, I think I missed everything that wasn’t here this very second. Stupid I know, but true all the same.”

    I changed into my pj’s, enjoying the feel of the satin against my skin; sensual like a breaking wave.  The smooth coolness reminded me of diving.  The suit formed to my skin, descending into smooth ripples and pockets of cooler water.

    I missed diving already, I think I missed everything that wasn’t here this very second.  Stupid I know, but true all the same.

    “We have beer.”  Helena announced, striding into my room with 2 bottles already opened.  “I talked to Shane, we are having a barbecue next weekend.  This weekend is yours.”  Handing over a bottle to my waiting hands, she takes a swig of hers inclining her head towards my dresser.  “Can I borrow some jim jams?”  She asked softly, as if she was asking for a lot more.

    My stunningly cunning friend was asking for more, she wanted to sleep over.  I didn’t have the heart to say no, even if I wanted to.  There was a small part of me that did because I could sense a confrontation on the horizon.  Helena did not like being left out of the loop.

    “You know where they are,”  I answer, walking to the door.  “I’m gonna go see what’s showing on pay per view.”  I fancied something new, and didn’t want either of us to have to go out for it.  a few extra bucks on my cable bill wouldn’t bother me at all in this case.

    Who am I kidding, knowing Alice and what she does here while I am away, there’ll be more then a few extra bucks on my cable bill.

    “Ohh shit,”  I hiss, jumping off the lounge.  “She better not have got the adult channel again.”  I knell down before the lounge and carefully inspect it, not really sure what I am looking for, but instinctively knowing I would know it when I found it.  After all, there would be some evidence, right.

    “Ewwww…”  I push myself back, wiping my hands on my legs.  I don’t want to find evidence, I just want to get the cushion cases cleaned.

    Repulsed by where my mind went I scrub at my face with my finger tips, trying to clear out the thoughts enough so I can sit on my lounge again, and not think of my friend getting more action in my house then I am…

    6. Hi, sweet Deean! It is good to see Bette laughing again and try to losen up her living in constant fear. Helena is certainly the best friend we will love to have around. A true sister, indeed. We are glad that Kit is helping Bette to relax, too. Tina’s presence will bring another soft breeze of joy. Apparently, she seems smart, mischievous and HOT. All those elements are a good combination that will make Bette put her demons at bay. Bette’s passion for photograpy will jump to the scene, now. We laughed when you described the Scoobydo shorts that Bette was wearing. Thanks for this enchanting update.
