Angie: Mommy! come ooooonnn, I want to go down the slide.

Angie said whining.

Tina: Ok baby just let me finish putting this sunblock on you, then we can go.

Angie kept fidgeting around trying to break loose from her mother’s grip. Two words that could always describe Angelica, Human Fish, because she was obsessed with being in water. Bath tub, swimming pool, fresh water lakes, you name it, as long as there were water Angie was going in. Today Bette and Tina decided to go on a family day outing and have some fun, they chose the waterpark for obvious reasons but also because LA was incredible hot right now and will be for the next couple of weeks and since both women had the day off they wanted to get out. Angelica had been too excited ever since they told her last night about today’s festivities…

Flashback Last Night…

The family were gather around the dinner table enjoying a nice quiet meal.

Bette: So how long will you be working Saturday?

Tina: Oh didn’t I tell you.

Bette: Tell me what?

Tina: With the heat waves going on lately, the production will be shut down for tomorrow, so I’m off.

Bette face lit up, with Tina’s new promotion as President of Shailon Studios her schedule demanded crazy hours and only at least one day off every month. The couple still manage to make it home at night with enough time to spend the rest of day together with their daughter and each other but altogether they hardly ever see each other during the day anymore. Bette went back into the gallery business and reopened The Bette Porter Gallery but by now she had three locations, one in New York, Paris, and of course Los Angeles so she traveled a lot and this left little time for romance.

Bette: Well this is our lucky weekend because I’m also off tomorrow, James will be handling all businesses alone so I was just going to bring Angie by the studio and maybe have lunch with you but since you’re off this is even better.

Tina: Oh gosh Bette, I can’t remember the last time we had a Saturday off….whatever should we do?
