Bette: And by the way, a chicken don’t bark you idiot!

Lifeguard: Oh really?

Bette was about to answer when the lifeguard quickly shut the glass door and pushed the go button for Bette’s tube to drop.

Bette: IT CLUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off she went.

Tina: Nice one!

Tina smiled at the young lifeguard.

Lifeguard: Thanks!

All one could hear was screaming. Bette shot down in 4.5 seconds and the wind of the speed pulled her tank top right over head and once in the water she struggle for vision as her shirt was stuck in her swimsuit straps. All the children watching on at the end of the slide started laughing.

Bette: oh you think that’s funny huh? well when you go to sleep at night there will be a monster in all of your closets, how about that?

All the kids stop laughing immediately and just stared at Bette with frighten looks on their faces.

The other lifeguards signal ready for Tina and Angelica and off they went. Tina’s score was 5.6 seconds with Angie in first place with 4.2 seconds.

Angie: That was awesome!!!

Angie was jumping up and down having the time of her life.

Angie: Can we go again?

Bette: Maybe later sweetie, let’s go to another one.

Together they walked hand and hand to the next slide. Tina turned to Bette and notice that Bette had a huge grin on her face.

Tina: Babe you okay? I know you’re not having the best of luck with the lifeguards today.

Bette: You know what Tina…this was really a great idea and surprisely I’m having a blast so thanks honey.

Bette leaned over to kiss Tina on the lips.

Tina: I love you.

Bette: Love you too.

The family enjoyed a few more slides and by now Angie and Bette were both now sporting a curly hair afro and Tina couldn’t help but to find her girls so adorable looking very natural. It was amazing how much Angie looked like Bette even though she wasn’t the birth mother. Later they decided to take a break and have some lunch. They all ate sandwiches and drunk capri sun juices and shared a fruit salad. Bette noticed Tina looking at her.

Bette: What?

Tina: Nothing… I just love this, us as a family…I’m just so happy to be spending time with you guys, I feel like I’ve been missing so much and I’m sorry.

Bette: Tina I understand that you have to work…and honestly I’ve been traveling a lot myself…how about here on out we both make time in our busy schedule for times like these, no exception.

Tina: Deal.

Tina chuckled.

Tina: Bette I never thought I will see the day you eat junk food at a amusement park.

Bette: What can I say, I’m in a good mood and have my two favorite girls with me, any food would taste good to me right now.

Bette looked lovingly at Tina and they shared another kiss but this time more passionate than before, then they both turned to kiss Angie on the forehead at the same time who was busy stuffing food in her mouth.

Bette: Ok back to the fun…ready to ride the wave pool??

Tina: Ready!

Angie: Me too mommy, I’m ready!

Angie said in a cute baby voice and Tina chuckled at her hyper child.

Tina: Of course you are.

Tina kissed Angie on top of her head again then helped her clean up the mess she made so they could go jump in the wave pool. Bette looked around and saw a group of kids approaching from afar.

Bette: um babe, now would be a good time.

Tina: what’s the rush?

Bette: nothing sweetheart…just…ready to swim…that’s all.

Bette said nervously smiling.

Tina threw the trash away then heard a child say…

Little Kid: There she go, let’s get her!!!

Tina looked up and saw kids running towards their way and all of sudden Bette grabbed her hand, picked up Angelica, then they took off running.

Tina: Bette what did you do to them kids???

Bette: Nothing honey!

Bette shouted while running, Angelica saw kids her own age chasing them and hollered with laughter, she was just so happy to have both her moms with her goofing off, at her favorite place in the whole world…the waterpark.
