Madison opened the door to find Zoe standing there with a single red rose and bottle of wine. Madison lost her breath for a second as she took in how beautiful Zoe looked. Her hair was up, with a few strands pulled out to frame her face. She had little make-up on but the sparkle in her eye and smile on her face more than compensated. Zoe was wearing nike running pants, sneakers and a tight light yellow t-shirt that offset her honey brown complexion and showed the lovely shape of her *****.

So are you going to invite me in or are you going to just stand and stare?

Sorry, youre just so damn beautiful, you take my breath away. Come on in.

As Zoe moved forward she leaned in to kiss Madison on the lips and then moved her mouth over to her ear to whisper; I missed you. The rose is for you, the wine for us.

Madison once again felt a jolt go through her like a lightening bolt. She knew she had it bad for this woman. She turned so her lips were now near Zoes. I missed you too. Leaning back Madison pulled Zoe into an embrace, her arms around Zoes waist. She stood there holding Zoe, hoping that the gesture would make Zoe feel safe and give herself a chance to calm down. Zoe hugged her back tightly.

Hey, my Aunt Shane is here. Come into the living room so I can introduce you to her.

Madison grabbed Zoes hand and walked forward into the living room.

Aunt Shane this is Zoe. Zoe meet my Aunt Shane.

Shane stood and extended her hand, while sizing Zoe up. She couldnt believe the resemblence Zoe had to Bette. Did Madison realize this? Yep, Zoe was one hot woman; there was no denying that. But then again so was Madison. The two looked good together, like a perfect match but the similiarities to Bette and Tina was a bit freaky.

Well, its a pleasure to meet you Zoe. Its not often I get to meet one of Madisons friends.

Thats because she never stays with someone long enough. Zoe deadpanned.

Shane looked from Zoe who was smiling, too Madison who mouth was hanging open and said, well Maddie, it looks like youve finally met your match. Have a wonderful evening you two. Will I see you on Wednesday Maddie?

Madison was still trying to regain her composure. Ah, yeah, sure, wouldnt miss it for the world.

Cool, well I gotta get going. I need to pick your Aunt Julia up from the mall. Zoe, I hope to see you again sometime soon. Ill let myself out. Enjoy dinner.

Madison walked Shane to the door anyway. Goodnight Aunt Shane, thanks for the advice earlier.

Listen Madison, she is beautiful, ***** and has spunk. Just take it slow and everything will work out. Now come here and give me a hug. Shane wrapped her arms around Madison and pulled tight for a second. Go get her tiger!

Madison laughed and pulled out of the hug. Youre too much Aunt Shane, now get.

Madison closed the door and went to find Zoe. Zoe was standing admiring the photographs in the room.

Hey you. Whatcha doing?

These photographs, theyre really very good. Where did you get them?

My sister Alexis took them. She is studying art in college. Lexie is following in my momma Bs footsteps. A chip off the old block.

Id like to meet her sometime. You sound like you have a wonderful family.

I do. My moms are great and then I have a bunch of Aunts that are like second moms.

Wait, did you say you have to 2 mothers? Yes, why dont you keep me company in the kitchen while I finish preparing dinner and Ill tell you all about them.

Madison opened the bottle of wine that Zoe had brought, poured two glasses, and handed one to Zoe. Heres to good food, drink and company. Cheers.

Zoe raised her glass, Cheers.

As Madison prepared dinner she told Zoe about her moms, and Aunts Kit, Shane, Dana and Alice. She included stories of growing up with Jake, and Alexis and how they had all become one big happy family.

Okay, dinner is ready, why dont you go sit down and Ill bring the food in.

Zoe grabbed the bottle of wine and garlic bread and made her way into the dining room.

As they finished eating Zoe said I envy you with your big family. Mine is small, just my parents and me. I always thought it would be great to have a large family and youve confirmed that for me.

Listen, its not always as grand as I made it out to be. 2 moms, 5 aunts, 2 siblings come with a lot of meddling and fighting over silly things but I wouldnt change it for anything. Do you think about having children Zoe? Madison couldnt believe the words that had just come spilling out of her mouth. She wanted to retrieve them as you would a bar of soap that slips out of your hand in the shower but knew she couldnt. What a dork she was.

Zoe smiled. This woman in front of her was so honest, she just let her thoughts and emotions come forth. She needed to be more like that. Let herself go, not keep things so bottled up inside. I want children, most definetly. Just not yet, I need to find the right person to settle down with and then spend some time building a solid foundation. As Zoe spoke she looked directly into Madisons eyes, searching for confirmation that Madison understood the message she was sending.

Madison never let her eyes stray from Zoes as she reached forward and put her hand on top of Zoes. I want the same thing Zoe, lots of children with the right woman by my side. Im willing to wait, however long it takes.

Zoe blinked back the tears that were threatening to fall.

Hey, whats the crying for?

Im afraid Madison.

What of?

Ive never felt this way about someone before. When Im around you I feel giddy, beyond joyful, I cant think straight, butterflies in my stomach. Im just so afraid that if I let you in youll eventually get bored with me and leave. Then where will I be?

Madison got up and knelt down in front of Zoe, holding her hands. I understand Zoe, Ive got quite the reputation out there but know this. I feel the same way you do; Ive never felt this way about anyone before. Its all new and it scares the ***** out of me. Look, I know youve been through a lot and I dont want to push because Im afraid youre going to run but Im going to say this because you have a right to know: Im falling in love with you Zoe, head over heels in love and telling you is probably the bravest thing Ive ever done in my life. I dont easily share my emotion, thats why Ive always loved and left. But deep down inside I want something more; Ive just never found the right person to be with, until now. If you stay with me I promise not to go anywhere unless youll be there too. Madison finished and looked down, praying that she didnt scare Zoe off with her confession.

Zoe ran her fingers through Madisons hair. Its not going to be easy Maddie, Ive got a lot of baggage, but if youll have me Ill always be by your side. I love you too Maddie, more than Ive ever loved anyone else.

Madison looked up and smiled, tears streaming down her face. Zoe reached down and pulled her up so that she could give her a kiss. A gentle sweet kiss that held the promise of many tomorrows together.

See I told you my cooking was the best way to a girls heart! Madison laughed, wiping away her tears.

Mmmmm, what do you have planned for dessert? Zoe replied, wiggling her eyebrows.
