Chapter One

Tina carefully walked up the icy stairs to the enterence of her dorm. As she walked down the hall she heard her phone ringing in her room. “*****” she exclaimed outloud as she began to run to her door. “don’t hang up, don’t hang up” she chanted as she fumbled for her keys but before she could get the door open the answering machine kicked on.

“Hey girl! I guess your still at class. I was just calling to see if you were as excited as I am. I can’t wait for you to get here it’s gonna be narley! Give me a call. Peace”

Tina opened the door and threw her stuff on her bed. “Hayden called” said a muffled voice from across the room. “Christ! You scared me. I didn’t know you were here” replied Tina, resting her hand on her chest. “So Derek, do you always sleep here when Jess is at class?” she said to her roomates slightly lazy boyfriend. “Yeah my roomates friends are always in my room” he replied as he rolled over making himself visable. “So where you going?” he continued. “Oh, im going to L.A. to visit Hayden for spring break” she replied as she pulled out her travel bags. “Oh is that your girlfriend?” he asked. Tina stopped packing and looked at him with confusion. “No. Why would you think im *****?” she asked. “Well Jay told me-” Tina imeadently cut him off. “Don’t listen to anything that ***** tells you, he’s just mad I wouldn’t sleep with him” she chimed in angerly. “Sometimes I wish I were though” she said as she continued packing. “Yeah that would be hot” he quiped as he rolled back over. “Have fun” he yawned before falling asleep again.

Tina finished packing and glanced around the room one last time before leaving. She quickly packed her car and made it to the airport in record time. She checked her bags and before she knew it the plane was taking off. She exhaled as she leaned back in her seat and looked out the window at the horizon, the stress of the day was gone and she was on her way to L.A.
