“A date? Alice, what were you thinking? What about Dana?”
“TK, it’s not that kind of date. It’s an information-gathering date.”
“Well, I didn’t know those kinds of dates exist,” Tina chuckled, shaking her head.
“Oh, they definitely exist but I’m the only one who gets them, I’m afraid,” Alice winked at her, finishing her water.
“Okay, what is this all about, Al?”
“Well, I was driving towards Laguna Beach and I’m in a little hurry. That sex shop I visited awhile ago was getting some camouflage dildos and when I mentioned it to Dana on a phone, she was actually excited. As I recall, her exact words were, ‘Get one just in case we’re screwing in a war zone’,” Alice giggled, thinking about her girlfriend.
“You know, Alice, I wish Dana didn’t have to go away so much. She’s an amazing person and I miss hanging out with her.”
“Me too,” Alice sighed, “I miss her a lot. At least for now it’s just weekly trainings and not the tournaments, when she goes off to train and then to compete and sometimes I don’t see her for a couple of weeks at a time.”
“Why don’t you go with her? I’m sure she’d love it.”
“Well, her new manager is a gold-digging bitch and she told Dana to keep her personal and professional lives separate, so no friends or partners are allowed to stay with her or visit while she’s in training or on tour. ‘Dana Fairbanks is the greatest tennis player of our times and she needs to concentrate on her career now more than ever’,” Alice mimicked Dana’s new manager and rolled her eyes.
“I see,” Tina said, “She does sound like a total bitch. What’s her name?”
“Tonya something…apparently she wormed her way into Dana’s agent’s office. She has him completely enthralled and he eats out of the palm of her hand,” Alice was furious, “…and guess what? She plays for our team so I’m totally freaking out here. What if Dana likes her in that way? I can’t imagine loosing a person I love to an endorsement slut. Dana and I were best friends before we got together and we were really curious to know if turning into lovers would ruin our friendship.”

Ahaa…and the plot thickens once again. Hmmm, so guess who’s coming to dinner eh???? The professor? Someone from the ATF?? Christina’s offspring??? Get that interview done and come back and post this story’s update. Thanks B&TF!
